A toast to Evan Williams! 🥃
The Packers believe Evan Williams can play any of the safety spots and down in the nickel, giving him the versatility and interchangeability that the defense requires at the position. Evan Williams played all over the defensive schemes at both Fresno State and Oregon, so he has no lack of experience at several spots entering the NFL playing for the Green Bay Packers. With Evan Williams in particular, he’s played more safety but especially at the Senior Bowl you watched him and change directions and do those kinda things, he was very, very efficient mover in short space, which is what you’d like your nickel to be. So they felt pretty good about it. The Packers see Evan Williams as a smart and physical defensive back who can wear multiple hats in the secondary. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
I know it will be obvious when reviewing the footage, but signal cut out, which disrupted a good portion of this analysis. I'd suggest having a secondary audio recording device so you can splice it in if there is a connection issue.

Loved the analysis, one thing I've seen a lot that you didn't touch on much is the intangibles, multi year captain, and from what I've heard a great guy and even better student! This is probably my favorite pick of the draft!
Favorite pick in the draft. Besides being a great football player that has heart, he’s instinctive, gritty, and intelligent. Oregon coach said he came in as a transfer and took that locker room over as a leader right away.

The Packers have a slew of DBs that can play and will play in the slot this upcoming season. Nixon, Bullard, Williams and King.

Bullard will not play slot in green bay he is a box saftey opposite mckinny. they don't take a slot in round 2, that don't value the position.
