  • In this video, I show how to install rubber refills on both the front and rear wiper blades. Full replacements would cost over $55, but I refilled all three blades for only $12.50 (plus tax).
While only the rubber wears out, the Windshield Wiper Industrial Complex wants you to replace your entire wiper blade every 6 months. Instead, you can save money and reduce waste using Wiper Blade Refills.
There are wiper refills made to fit many aftermarket and OEM/factory blade assemblies. Check your owner's manual or your aftermarket blades to make sure you purchase the right refills for your car or truck.

The links below take you to the wiper blade refills I purchased for my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (should fit 2011-2020 models, too). But be sure to choose the correct refills and sizes for your vehicle.

Fight back against the Windshield Wiper Blade Industrial Complex and only replace what needs replacing: the RUBBER. Do you use wiper refills? Doing so can save you a ton of money (and send less waste to the landfill).

And I think you put them on backwards! Yes, they *fit*, but I've got a similar situation on our car - note that the driver's side one doesn't come up as high as it should, and the passenger side comes close to hitting the top of the frame.

I actually tried them on the opposite arms as well. Didn't work. :)

Finally getting around to commenting on this. Been buying blades from Costco - wonder if they have refills cheaper than the $6 ($3 discount) per?

Costco just has the full blade assemblies in the big plastic/cardboard sleeves, no refills.

Yes, my refill was 2.99 can't beat it, unless you order wholesale. If the store sells for 2.99 they get them cheaper. Find the whole sale and it will be cheaper then 2.99 can't beat a refill. Not even Costco.
