    0:45 is the howl if anybody’s looking for it and the reason it doesn’t sound like it does when she’s in flight is because of the air passing through when she’s going at high speeds otherwise when she’s standing still, she’s just sucking the air in without getting it blown in her face hence the reason why the Howl is a bit silent

    She needs to fly!! We need her back in the air

      i agree. the only way she would ever fly again is the queen used her powers and said i want her to fly. no one can question the queen. i'm suprised the vulcan has not been given a special status, i mean more bizzare and older aircraft still fly! save the vulcan and god save the queen

      @@jameshartley95 there is a way via the arts council grants as she is a work of art and still very much futuristic in platform and design. Just look at the new Russian PAKDA. Bombers wing form . IT CAN BE DONE ITS GETTING THE WILL GOING

      We can dream....
      The cold hard fact is, the supporting companies pulled out as the engineers were all getting too old, air crews were getting too old......and the airframe itself would have needed a massive overhaul and NDT to check for fatigue.
      Millions of pounds would be needed again to get her flying....after what the country has gone through recently, the free funds just wouldn't be there.

      Bet that was a big job do you think they will ever update it to fly again or is it more millions than its worth

      @@checkoutmypage984 it was a big job! Took a good 10 people to get it done
      Ive discussed with quite a few RAF engineers they all thought that it would never fly again even though it was technically still fit to fly.
      One issue with that specific one is a housing estate has been built very close to the airfield so it would blow all their windows off even if it were to take off!

    • @InsaneFlying
      @InsaneFlying Před rokem +1

      @@ryansmith1115 not too long, only took a couple hours, we hooked chain pulleys around it and pulled it down onto a trolley to wheel it away. Same thing in reverse to get it back in, hardest part was keeping it lined up perfectly as it was hanging. Then we let the engineers connect all the pipes and wires back in lol

      Yes, there is. It's just not as prominent as when it's in the air with all 4 engines running.
