Love the vids.. I took the rear cats and muffler out of mine. 2003 2.5i.. defnitly felt a diffrence in mine though.. I still have the exhuast header cats in though...
Long time ago I removed my muffler box it was a bit too loud so I put it back and my mid resonators was deleted already
Maybe it would of flowed better if you would’ve added a small section of pipe to that area . The large chamber probably is not letting the exhaust flow smoothly. But I’m not an exhaust system expert. Just a thought, nice info thanks a bunch.
100% it would flow better if I added pipe but I did not have lol 😆 😅

What I experienced is that there was a slight very slight increase in sound at idle but it sounded like a beast when you plant it ,you do loose some top end speed but low end way more torque I had no problems with the comb out , some vehicle's newer models pick it up on the O2 sensor and throw an error but yours should be fine, but really can't guarantee that .
It is a really big task for small gain in my opinion ,if you do it for sound rather cut some internals out the rear box and if you want a lot of sound simply delete the rear box that is alot of sound
you should sell them, they are kind expensive. And finally if you crashing them wear a mask inside particals of catalyst is really harmfull, and you grinded it off. (Just saying)
Yes I see they are worth some money 💵 apparently these metal ones not so much but will sell them for shure, and thanx for the concern on the health side much appreciated.
I think maybe I should make a video of things that is actually worth money 💵 when you remove it, the stuff people usually throw away
