I believe the actual saying is brows should be sisters, not twins, but I understand what you mean. Our faces are not symmetrical to begin with and, as we age, the asymmetry becomes more noticeable. It’s great to get tips that address the issue of embracing and working with asymmetry without looking fake/contrieved.

I've been watching you and Nic since 2009, but I'll never forget our Canadian friend Samantha Ravndahl mentioning both of you in a video. She said you ladies did the most amazing makeup tutorials, always looked so elegant, and like you had the "right" amount of makeup on (I think she's met you at a few events). She was so right, and that's something that has always distinguished you ladies. Nothing wrong at all with being or looking heavily made up, but it's just not everyone's preference.

I’m looking at that and the Elf luminous bronzer in the Vacay Mood she used. The luminous sheen without being shimmery is gorgeous on the skin, both under the eyes and as a sunkissed look while seeing the sheen just when the light hits it. Elf is really duping these high end brands like they said, turning their whole brand into prestigious products while still being really fairly/affordably priced. These high end n luxury brands better watch out. When these low end drugstore brands are able to make the same if not better products for a fraction of the price, it shows what a rip off these high end brands are.
This is the type of makeup I would wear to do my groceries 🙂.

I was doing my makeup this morning whilst watching this video. Moments before you applied the Rare Beauty eyeshadow stick, I’d started applying my Rare Beauty eyeshadow stick. When you said the shade name, I looked at mine & nearly fell off my chair when it was the same shade. You’ve clearly had an influence on me, over the years.

I can’t understand why people go bonkers for those putty bronzers. The putty primer was not great either imo, but that Vacay color is absolutely stunning on the skin. I’ve never seen that before- where it gives you a natural sun kissed look on the cheeks and bridge of nose but with the most beautiful sheen to the skin just as the light hits it in the right place. What a unique product. I must get that now.😂

The real estate between my lid and brow is quite sad😂. I do love that big brush though!!! I’m 58 and have ZERO lid space now! Well, maybe not zero but they’re definitely more hooded than they used to be and the sad thing is that with amount of money I’ve wasted on bullshit eye creams and wrinkle creams, I could have a face full of Botox!!!😂

Yes, this is base perfection for 40/dry skin! My ideal base products are reminiscent of Mac F&B ….just sheer/light perfecting that wears well and doesn’t look makeup(y) or drier as the day goes on.

I just found your page!!! I find applying an eye primer or concealer on my lids give me a truer eyeshadow color, also I like to dry my waterline with a q-tip before add pencil to my waterline. It goes on better and stays on longer.

I have basically no brows… just a couple very short thin ones here & there… after more then 10 years of chemo so I always appreciate any brow tips, tricks!! It’s so easy for my brows to look like too much & I think that’s because I’m used to not having brows any more. I’m like Sam I like a very light base… I don’t want it to look like makeup but the brows can so easily through the whole thing off!! Thank goodness for brow pens!!!! Thanks for all the help you’ve given us over the years Sam!!!!

Makeup looks amazing! I also do a natural look for work, but I skip the SPF as I work indoors. There is no need, and if you do find yourself going outside at times for work, SPF inactivates after about 2 hours. So it's really quite pointless unless you're exposed and can reapply throughout the day.
Which brush are you using for your foundation? I love it!
You got such perfect skin....if I was to use only the CT Hollywood filter as a base i would see my pores from space 😂
What base products can I substitute if I don't like foundation? I use concealers, and I love flawless filter but it is very sheer coverage.

Lovely look, one I’m definitely going to try. I once drove home from the salon with a shower cap on over the hair dye on my head 😂 My daughter had forgotten her key. I swear I was so embarrassed, I didn’t look right or left as I drove in broad daylight with a shower cap on my head! If looks could kill, my kiddo would have been a pile of ashes.
