Fishing Blyth pier and the river Tyne

- In this next video we went to Blyth pier as met office was saying big winds all over the coast including Whitby… a good couple hours on Blyth before the locals. And and there was to many rods out in the small space we were so we moved to the river Tyne started at pottery bank bit there was loads of sea weed leave and crap coming in every cast so we went along to smiths docks and had a great session … did we beat our record of 66 fish in a session ? It’s important we teach them right mate when we got there they were going to use a dead whiting as bait ☹️ after explaining to them and giving them some bait they hopefully know better now 😊

Hi thanks for the comment. If you wanted to fish this location it’s smiths docks in North Shields you park on the side of the road and go through the gap in the fence 😊 I could send you a pin 📍 if you want

there is a few local easily accessible spots on the Tyne of you like to fish South Shields there is a few spots on the river. walk way , mill dam , broad landing , even hebburn marina 😊

We do get Salmon in the Tyne but I’m sure you need a license to fish for the

@@guaporeturns9472 never thought about it I know it’s illegal to fish for them tho with out license so not worth the risk in my opinion
