  • This is my bible-based response to Jentezen Franklin's sermon on obedience being better than sacrifice. This preacher talks about curses being from the devil and demons, but I beg to differ. I think that the word of God tells us something different than what is taught in this teaching clip.

Seek the heavenly promise land! Earthly blessings 🌍 ain’t got nothing on Heaven. God is the rewarder and punisher🙌🏽🙇🏽

Great response to this. Gotta be eternal focused, pure and righteous. Seeking His kingdom first is priority! Of course God gives good gifts to those He loves but He is not a genie nor is that why we serve Him. Just as He gives good gifts, He also punishes those He loves just like earthly fathers. His correction is good and for our good!

Thank you for your precious work brother. It helps me to have your views on sermons. On the 1st part, i think it is possible to want God's plan but not God himself as the preacher said. I mean many want to be on the forefront as a well known minister, or a great preacher or leading a church, want the glory of ministry but not God himself. It's like those that cast out, heal etc but Jesus says I don't know you. And we know that God wants us to love Him first before any other work for Him. The litmus test would be if God ask you to stop your church and stop ministry, do you stop all and still be satisfied with just His Person or you still prefer the ministry??

This brother seems deeply sincere. However, he is not well informed about what he is saying. He is heavy on works and lite on grace. I also am concerned about Franklin's teaching but this brother is not criticizing Franklin in a coherent manner. He certainly isn't correcting Franklin with the Scriptures. He doesn't seem to know the difference between how God judges the Christian and how He will judge the wicked. As a side note, what kind of accent does he have? Again, he seems sincere but is not well informed or gifted at refuting/correcting with the Word. Maybe read and study more.
