Unbelievable, we used to go there about 6 times a year. We stayed in the very same places that no longer exists. Can’t imagine what the people that lived there, and we knew so well are doing, or even if they are still alive.my words can’t express how I feel, so very very sad.

Where do you even begin...… So sad. I am happy that a couple people I know (Stacy and Lynn (with background/hidden support)) are working to rebuild; there is immense meaning behind that word "rebuild". ALL of this has to be cleaned up first, one baby step at a time, and the things you encounter while doing so...……. God Bless.

I'm appreciative of you posting this recent vid. Tks for the effort. They are so poor, it'll take years to rebuild.

5:45 wtf?! That's craaaaazy I have stayed there and it was lovely. They will have to build differently in the future. why didn't the roofs hold on so many buildings?

This makes me sad because I wanted to go out there because that's where Aaliyah shot her video at. And that's where she stayed at :(

These homes look like they were 'hurricane proof' by the raised metal platforms and octagon heavily reinforced structures, but even these are no match for winds gusting up to 225 mph !! Amazing that the homes in 2:00 looked untouched !! The homes at 3:24 near the inlet are also amazingly not damaged but are surely suffering from flood waters. The home at 5:25 was really poorly built !! - Wouldn't want to be in that house we it happened. Trying to be in high ground and the upper 1/2 of the house flips over into the 20foot surge waters. Very obvious from the video which homes were very poorly made.
