Ah, I'm in that awesome corner of CZcams again. It's beautiful here, thank you for sharing this gem!
Nag Champa has one of the best song outros ever written.
had to go back and listen from this comment. Spot on!
Thank you! It was a pain in the ass to write
I’ve consistently been listening to these guys for 3 years… They’ve been with me for so long, through an infinite number of study sessions through college. They evoke so many incredible memories and thoughts of studying for hours on end. They will never not be one of my favorite bands, I’ve simply experienceed so much learning and peacefulness through them. They seriously have contributed in a big way towards me being able to focus my anxious mind during preparation for exams. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I feel like I’ve listened to this album so many times that I know exactly how each song goes and where different instrumentals end and begin. I love Enemies, and I’ll always be grateful I stumbled onto this album which proceded to act as a calming catalyst for over 3 years of undergrad study.
Omg yes!! This is absolutely the best album to listen to while studying or working on a project. I've gotten so much done just listening to it on repeat. 💗
@@petalchild No doubt, love to hear other people appreciate them as well :)
Love your Enemies xD
Still here, still listening. 7 years strong@@kim7gwdchrregramos805
this album, man. i haven't had such a powerful reaction to a chunk of music in a long while. if the band ever sees this somehow... thank you.
You know that sweet moment you find a band you completely forgot about for a couple of years because you didn't pay much attention to how rad they were?
What the fuck is this and why im just listening to this in 2015... i've wasted my life
+viktr estebn saame
I just found this lol
You must feel like Neo when he woke up from the matrix. ;P
Kinda kinda
I know I'm another year behind but I just discovered this genre now... So happy I did!!
This really should have more views
Lol why? You seriously listen on CZcams? Buy their album kid.
happy 10 years
still one of my all-time favs. Morse Code may be the mightiest album closer ever.
"Morse Code may be the mightiest album closer ever." - I absolutely agree
first had the fortune of hearing this soon after it came it. i have listened to many albums/bands but this is one of the standouts. it's played and has a vibe like some dudes just went into a studio one day and decided they were going to create a masterpiece. it's just so chill but so grand at the same time. it's incredibly unique. one of the hidden gems of modern music. as time goes on though i don't think it will stay hidden for long
this album is 10 years old, if it wasn't for this channel I didn't know it 5 years ago, thanks from Argentina!!!
This music speaks, it is simply the language of passion unbound by modern conventions. I've read through the comments and I see nothing but support and expression of gratitude which is very unusual to see on youtube. This may be a stretch but I'm convinced possibly this music attracts individuals who operate on a different wave length than most. This isn't the musical equivalent of packaged deli meat you pick up at the supermarket like the rest of the music on the radio. This is music is intricate, passionate and genius. It takes a special kind of person to appreciate the brilliance of it. I'm just happy to find out I belong to this crowd of youtube people.
Hahaha, my comment does have a little bit of a pretentious ring to it, looking back on it. Maybe it's me being defensive about having a unique preference of music. I apologize if it has that effect. It's just nice to see like minded people enjoying this music so dearly. I appreciate your point of view, it helps me be more self aware about how I express myself.
+celso da silva This music is not particularly out there or experimental in any capacity. It does not take a special sort of person to appreciate this music. This shit is pretty straightforward. There are much more underground and tougher to get into forms of music. This idea that one is better or smarter due to a certain sort of music is incredibly smallheaded.
+Jeff Speciale consequenceofsound.net/2014/10/smart-people-listen-to-radiohead-and-dumb-people-listen-to-beyonce-according-to-new-study/ Actually, yes. Intelligent people listen to different music.
+Celso Da Silva Same. :)
bless you, much respect x
Bro this is the kinda music a nigga lives for!
Still bangs in 2024
This album is just 10/10
It's more in the math punk vein.
Similar, and amazing bands include: 'Dios Trio', 'Dartz!' & the infamous 'Colour'.
*flies away*
Math rock you mean?
My favourite instrumental album of all fucking time. Just plain perfect.
Randomly clicked on thsi suggested video, the first song got me.
Really gets the endorphins rushing through you
One of my top 10 albums
Too bad they broke up. :(
Thanks dude!
I've been searching for this for a long time, on youtube people only make playlists.
Just came upon this from listening to TotoRo. I'm glad I clicked on this. this music is soo good.
+Matthew Maduli Totorro is the flipping tits..no doubt
Totoro just toured with Vasudeva in the UK. You should check them out!
Oh, I've def given Vasudeva a listen. They're aight, but don't do it for me...idk
You may like Tide/EDIT
wonderful, one of the best bands I've ever listened. Thx for sharing and Thx to ENEMIES.
The algorithm brought me this. Excellent
This is my shit right here. The progressive style of this music just clicks with me so much more than half the commercialized crap that modern artists are pumping out these days. This is what music should be about.
thepalmetto If you like this you should check out Chon or TTNG I love music (btw this is considered math rock but that's a whole different genre in it self)
GizmoDa Robot Thanks for the suggestion but already heard Chon! Also Sithu Aye and Plini. Lots of stuff out there flying under the radar these days...
Yeah man it's quite sad that people with lots of potentially usually don't get noticed anymore
+thepalmetto dont think ive ever seen anyone mention plini. thank you, lol. had them stuck in my cd player before i heard of enemies. so much good underground music
+thepalmetto 1. As long as there is music, there will be the popular artists/musicians that the majority of a state/country/continent/world listens to or at least recognizes.
2. Not all of the mainstream artists "pump out" commercialized crap.
3. There is so much more music than this.
4. Music should encompass all sorts of emotions and feelings. It would suck if all music was mathrock. Honestly, I am not sure if the appreciation of this music is based on the novelty or the legitimate quality of the music itself. And youo should ask yourself that question.
First time listening to this album but it's making me nostalgic
THIS ALBUM GIVES ME SO MUCH LIFE
Still rocking this in 2019
Unique and amazing album!!!
Number 1, top album; would bang 10/10
-Gabby
My favourite album to work to of all time. This and Polyphia maximizes my focus by 10000%
what an amazing record
Appreciate the full album uploads mate!
Real shame Enemies are splitting. One of my favourite bands out there. This album is definitely in my top 5.
Logica1ity wait what Enemies is splitting?
Yeah man. Here's the announcement:

Wish I could make it to Dublin for the farewell show. Go if you can!
This is seriously one of the best post-rock albums I've ever heard. I must've listened to it around 10 times or so and need to listen to it so many more times!
Thank you! :)
I thought it sounded more akin to math rock than post rock
@@psy6356 it's def got some vibes from both genres! This comment was a long time ago and I didn't know either genre as well as I do now 😅
my new favorite
awesome study music !!
This is awesome, i will share this beauty to everyone :D
Wonderful album.
By far their best album. I wish they did more instrumentals or at least more songs that are light on the vocals and heavy on the music. I listen to this at least once a day!
ha! good sarcasm
thank you so much ! ! ! really ... changed my life .. breathed new breath.. n2 my soul... along with clever girl.. chon... totorro... color... thank you.. blessingzZz infinite ! ! ! :)ï(: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Wonderfully melancholy record
Just now discovering this in 2016 and currently blasting this in my dorm room. My roommate and I thank you.
2 months later... This shit is still just as good
So damn good
this is by far my favorite enemies release, that's even saying something because these guys consistently slay. but this album is a straight up slice o' fried gold, lightning in a bottle type shit. i said god damn.
the eponymous track gives one the feelz REGARDLESS
This Ages finely, good guitar good music, really paints a Picture ;)
nice
I like it c:
Came to this party 5 years late :(
banditdeville 6 years late here. you beat me
7 years late
@@esmeraldamarroquin8269 me tooo

Still dope confirmation. Pass. Enemies you are appreciated and will be missed
Best Irish band
Lol, stupid millennial.
Play on 2x speed for brain explosion.
fierce pit bosses is the bees knees
what a fucking tune!
*2021*
Check out Save us From the Archon guys if you like it
i endorse this
Gingerly is my shit
this is their magnum opus. what a fucking album
this rips!!!!
This shit is good
creamish goes off
But does it let us know the best Android apps for learning Japanese?
découverte ! quelqu'un peut-il me donner des infos sur ce groupe ?
people in the comments saying its post rock, kinda like chon, and also like delta sleep wtf is this heaven
be still my beating heart
Love it! Kinda like CHON C:
+Daniel Satur How epic would a show where Enemies opened for CHON be?
Probably wouldn't happen, CHON are too mainstream and they've been taken in by Sumerian, as have many other great bands. They let go of all their 'indy-ness' as soon as they joined, yet of course they still retained their hippy-ness. Regardless, an amazing band and indeed, it would be an 'epic' show!
yea except chon is like wayyy more technical
Owane, Enemies, and Chon...I'd have to go.
'chon is like way more technical' CRINGE so hard i nearly DIED
I honestly don’t think most people understand how important this album is. I wish Piglet was still around. enemies is better
I think the guy on the album cover is looking down at his unilluminated phone waiting for a text from someone, due to the album name.
Addition by Subtraction
still cooks. whatcha y’all up too?
Morse code
kinda trippy but some indie emo in it like natural milk hotal, cappzjazz
Sounds like the album cover and title should be named GloryRoad - Ongoing Pathway from Dust 🕊🕊🕊... Doesn't sound like it should be called Enemies - We've Been Talking... total opposite of what it sounds like to me
And group name I ment to add👌 as GloryRoad
Very indie. The pic alone made me click
bruh this is math rock not deathcab for cutie
stonephone I mean math rock is kinda just indie and prog with some emotive post hardcore influence.
the creamist is the best oneeee
that basssss
Mathrock ?
Yes, so it's a mix of several genres, progressive rock, Midwest emo and post rock
Why is this not on Spotify?
It was, but got removed recently. I think the band is working on getting it back on there soon.
The genre is called Math rock if anyone wanted to know
No don't give 1 fuck bout genre, just quality tunage.
+leon mcveigh well if you care about quality tunage then search up math rock.
No lyrics? :/
