Gods above, I can’t wait for Malenia.
First off Loretta Malenia can wait
Basically all of the Haligtree area
I'd watch it even if it eas 10, 20, 30 minutes long lmao
Or the tree avatar blocking the door on your way there. Oof what an entrance.
Or the bottom floor walkway with all the spawns
Malenia will just be the audio of her Intro on loop for a PTSD'd tarnished.
And some guy standing nearby with the pot helm.
This might have been the first place I visited in Dragonbarrow.
It was also the first place I decided that killing everything I encountered was not strictly necessary.
That way wisdom lies.
A valuable lesson we all must learn in these games. Sometimes, just bloody RUN.
There is a VERY distinctive difference between regular Caelid and Dragonbarrow 😂
@@PavelSekerkaI remember noticing that when I saw the wiki's level recommendations. Whoops. On the plus side, by the time I finally got to Altus, I was severely over levelled to the point that gravity was my most consistent killer.
@@EmperorSethI always take my time with soulsborne games. So for the first 50 levels, I basically just easy farm for souls/runes and maybe then, I'll actually begin to play. And I get wrecked anyway, just not that much :D
That one bat dying from fall dmg was extremely acurate 😅
"Flying" enemies
@@CarbotAnimations Flying is just falling in a peculiar direction
Wings are for show. 😂
@@ETBrooDas I recall from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, it's the ability to throw yourself at the ground, and miss
Never played it, but can imagine... hilarious. xD
Props for respecting the layout of the fort, it triggered flashbacks
absolutely perfect. I felt every corner he took, even without seeing it.
The rat dragging him back in 😭
It was great addition to the animation.
That was the best part
That rat destroyed me my first playthrough
The Tarnished at the end is a real sight for...sore eyes
I think he earned that sore seal in more ways than one lol
Oof!@@CarbotAnimations
Insane that from only camera positioning you can tell exactly what's happening if you've been there before.
Ah yes. The very place that taught me the painful lesson of, "Sometimes you just have to sprint for your life."
I continue to be amazed how memorable every single place in Elden Ring is.
You're right... That's the point. If you had been there, you will remember
You are using the finger weapon! What a legend lol! I remember this fort, those damn bats!
And what a weapon it is
Truly a maddening experience.
And did not even get the Dectus Medallion from the place and has to return again at some point.
Tbf he's already gone to leyndell to get his mad eye so he doesn't need that anymore
Cant wait for The Fort Pt 2. LUL
Who tf gets the dectus medallion?
@@damobeck1 Technically it's the fastest way to reach Altus, but I very much prefer the dungeon route for two reasons:
1. It's full of smithing stones which you need
2. It's THE BEST lesser dungeon in the game.
@@damobeck1 Me in my first 3 playthrough, because i didn't know there was another path
even the video not showing what happening inside the fort
my memory is still very fresh and I know exactly what happen inside
I freakin' hated the giant rat. Completely caught me of guard and the little ones made it hard to drink potion. XD
Right? You get to that ledge after so many failed attempts and think "sheew, Should be smooth sai- oh dear god!!" *YOU DIED*
0:30 Flying enemies in fromsoft games dying to fall damage will always be funny
Even when we only see the outside I understand exactly what happens in each sections of this video.
Insufferably accurately real 😭😭
I just started to play the game some weeks ago. I saw some of these cartoons beforehand, and didn't know how painfully accurate they would turn out to be
It was a warning 😂
the frenzy mode xD
I think the best part about this is knowing exactly what happened inside without having to see it.
This place is a Tarnished's second shot at learning that sometimes you're supposed to come back later, specifically crafted for those too stubborn to learn it from our friendly neighbor in Limgrave, the Tree Sentinel.
And that damned first hero cave! I had to come back to it twice! Tree sentinel I didn't even try early on, but even so had to come back 2 or 3 times. The cave was more vexing, though.
Accidentally rolling off to the second floor from the rooftop while fighting the ghosts and just when you think you are safe from them.
You hear the most terrifying sound ever: rat squeaks.
"You had to have been there" - the Elden Ring video. Amazing.
ah yes, white castle.
also pretty cool that we saw the mage guy (apparently his name is anaz gulpluk) use frenzy incantations after he inherited the frenzied flame below leyndell
I love this fort. It was the first place in ER where I truly felt unwelcome from the first step to the last.
I love this dude’s voice. He’s probably my favorite. Always in a constant state of despair
The corner before running into the giant rats: half a dozen of messages saying "beware of right"
Players: i cant read
I don't know if was said, but I really appreciate the map showing the locations the videos take place in.
Its amazing thay we can tell exactly whats happening every time hes inside the building, even though we cant see inside. this place is that memorable.
I hope the tarnished will fight over what ending to take in the finale.
Frenzied flame? Age of stars? Perfect order? Maybe they will combine it all into their own ending.
...you know just thinking about it the Prisoner doesnt have any major NPC's she connected to, so she may be the standard Elden Lord ending.
But seeing how these fools all go at it, the'yre all likely to fail at the very last second and the new Elden Lord will be Boc....who turns the wold into fashions souls (err Ring).
I'm happy that I explored so much of this game and can have a deeper appreciation towards these animations. Umbasa, Variornox and Praise the Sun.
he forgot to grab the other half of the dectus medallion
He's already been to Leyndell, bypassed the lift and all.
He probably took the alternate route by going through the north cavern in Liurnia.
@@sanlorenzo7896nah he hasn’t been to Mt Gelmir yet. There’s other shortcuts
Thanos' giant fingers.
The best weapon of all.
Try finger
But hole...
My ass was clenched the *entire* time waiting to hear the Foxxy scream. That jumpscare has scarred me for years.
With a title like this I expected something very different too.
I LOVE this. Great work. Really captures the feeling of being a mostly caster in that place. Now I need a "Five nights at Faroth" song. XD
Aw man, Fort Faroth, I spent so much time farming those first floor bats for XP. Fond memories.
Fond memories of me and Oleg up on the battlements beating up ghost soldiers the moment they spawn before frantically dashing to the next spawn location.
Why farm the bats for runes when there's a free 70k right outside the door?
@@yggdrasil7776 Once you've killed Greyoll, to have 18-20k runes worth of respawning enemies all crammed together in one small building that can be cleared out in 3-4 minutes with the right setup, and with grace right outside the door, is too attractive during the early game.
I love how he’s kinda starting to channel his overwhelming fear and ineptitude into strength
I love how he died at the grace and respawned 2 inches from it XD
It’s amazing, I haven’t played in over a year and yet this video immediately gave me flashbacks and knew exactly where this was. I can tell these vids come from experience playing the game
Not going to lie, this is my favorite character. Truly encapsulates the Soulsborne experience. Yes they're a punching bag that we like to watch suffer, but still they continue on and eventually succeed.
Really appreciate the continuity in regards to the finger weapon and frenzy madness.
Yeah no cap, this is pretty accurate. I got jumped and died at least once on each floor. They did a damn good job setting up the ambushes in there. They got the pain of getting through the bats and the ghosts only to die to the giant rat and have to make the treck again down pat here.
There must have been quite an epic recording session in the making of this video. 🤣
Nobody does "sobbing in terror" like Carbot Elden Ring.
Pro Tip: Go here first thing when you start a new game, skip all enemies and grab the lift half item and soreseal, then immediately quit to menu and back in then you can teleport without anything killing you. go kill the dragon right after also to gain a ton of levels.
🤮🤮
😆Whenever I go in there, I just run. Never stop running until you get what you want.
I felt every inch of that, but when he knocked the AC u it out of the window, that finished me off.
This one set me off the most because of the way it showed our pain in this area, which is the reason I laughed so hard at it 😂😂
I love the way you drew this like a side scroller and one long scene with no cuts. Very different. 🤘
Him crying at the shrine. Reminds me of myself when I've been playing for too long.
That little cry after finding the seal was perfect.
Love the “oh” when they get the soreseal 😂
I love how you didn't have to animate what happened inside, and I still knew EVERYTHING that tarnished experienced in that madhouse.. fort
Love how it shows him learning after he dies each time.
At first, I was wondering if the character had the frenzied flame at this point but I was not disappointed
I've been trying really hard lately not to replay this game, it's so tempting. But no, I must wait for the DLC- I want to experience it all as one new playthrough again and have it feel a bit fresh, so I can't play yet, otherwise I won't get the experience I want. I wish I could erase certain memories sometimes, that way I could forget I ever played Elden Ring and each time would be like the first. I've not experienced any first playthrough quite the same as I felt this one- I was SOOO intimidated by certain bad guys, I kinda want that back, it made everything so much more interesting when the fear was there!
Love these vids!
I just imagine the devs programming that castle like: “you can fit so much suffering in this small area”
I love that the Fort literally drives the player mad and then he embraces the frenzied flame.
Didnt even have to see inside to know exactly what was going on 😂
You nissed the part where they kill Greyoll first, forget to use the runes then lose them all in the fort
"Food was not that good." Definitely the most prominent issue of Fort Faroth.
Oh that experience was painful and nostalgic.
Those instances where they dragged him back in were gold 😂😂
0:13 "We'd just like to schedule an exit interview with you"
He went mad, but instead of despairing - he used it as a weapon against those that wronged him. 😎😂
Hooray! I love this channel and originally subscribed for the Elden Ring videos, so I'm always keeping an eye out for the new ones.
Just did this with a friend the other night... This animation is shockingly accurate to my experience.
Carbot here really edging the Malenia+Ashen capital here with whatever miniscule dungeon he could find.
That 'aww' of the spirits when he fell down to the big rat 😆
That was... an experience. The layout was very easy to follow, despite the sideview. But. The poison, people... THE POISON
I lost my shit at the frenzied flames tears. Couldn't breathe XD
Poor wizard boy has 0 friends. That and his use of frenzied flame is the making of the Carbot Elden Ring villain.
“Fort Faroth all are welcome” yeah right
1:11 got me, pure gold
I lost it when his tears turned into unbearable frenzy, did not see that coming
This is the best your ever made until now.
what a pleasure to watch and listen
I can't wait for "Malenia is EASY" then 5 minutes of straight screaming
You capture how it feels so accurately! Lol
Love these.
I laughed really hard when she started casting the frenzy eyes already from the site of grace (and after crying)! And being overcome with the madness status up on the fort was a nice subtle touch.
I've been waiting to see them use the finger weapon in one of these, I was not expecting that here lol.
When we reach Malenia, im willing to wait however long is needed for a 10-20 minute video
Please don't stop making those short movies, they're so relatable when you have played the game :D
Absolutely hilarious :D
The giant finger sword flicking them away- I loled good at that! Gotta admit though, I expected the giant lazy dragon to be part of this!
Seems Prophet-man is still afflicted after his meeting with the three fingers
The bats who are flying enemies dying from fall damage are very funny
Bro became the lord of frenzy flame yet still cant handle a simple rat
The best thing about weekends = A new carbot video :)
Yeah, that tracks for Fort Faroth. And it has some things which make things quite a bit easier for a bit, meaning you will go there quite early in the game as well, when you are NOT ready.
The fact that you captured falling through that unexpected hole up top that always caught me out. 😂
The choreography of this was really well animated
And you realized that you need to go through all these again because you missed that key of some giant elevator
The madness and ringed finger were chefs kiss.
Dude the work you done making a parody and accurate to the game is truely amazing. Each video is a masterpiece.
the zerg sounds effects 😁
I still never understood why theirs ghosts only at the top of this place lol
Because those proud soldiers dislike bats and rats
There are also 2 out back on the ground if you go around the outside of the fort for some reason.
Love it. I knew exactally what was happening inside from painful experience.
you know what, idk if it's possible, this needs the goofy scream dubbed over it. I heard the goofy scream in my head the entire video... and that just lives rent free in my head now :P
This is truly a representative video of how that accursed building feels to go through.
Such evocative storytelling 😆 Perfect if you've played it, probably hella confusing if you haven't!
Oof, missing that medallion piece. I hope you're ready to go back for a visit
The camera pans were excellent. I knew exactly8 where you were at every point in the vid lolololol
