- In this elden ring video I'm showing you an awesome battle royale between all of the legend bosses in elden ring. As per usual we're gonna be playing a series of rounds with different scalings to determine which boss is the strongest legend.
The bosses included are Rennala, Regal ancestor spirit, Lichdragon Fortissax, Astel naturalborn of the void, Dragonlord Placidusax, Fire giant, Maliketh the black blade and Godfrey/Hoarah Loux.

placi and chadfrey is build different
And placi has no 2nd health bar
Neither does Godfrey, it just shows up that way for the mod. Placidusax has 5k more health in total
I've seen that everytime placi was in a Vs Everyone matches, his lightning strikes lost its "lock-on" ability. He's also quite slow and easy to stagger
But still, he managed to win in most matches, often by clutching. It really makes us wonder, how strong he was in his prime?

We've got a giant eldritch abomination from space, the very first elden lord who ruled over the dragons, the last giant of his kind who tends to the fire capable of burning the erdtree to nothingness, a dragon who fought of death itself for his friend, the very first tarnished, a being who can kill anything that struck fear into all the demigods, and the founding member of the ancient dragon cult.
Then there's a moose and an old woman with a giant hat.

Same, I get so tired of seeing that cheap bastard win these because of how tanky he is. Placi deserved that win he was getting bullied early on.
Placi played round 2 so smart, and then he got hit by Maliketh coming in from behind like an invisible nuke. Then he got hit with the targeting on his dive attack messing up. Bro got a whole round stolen from under him
His lightning strikes also lost their "lock-on" feature when he's against more than one enemy, so him summoning lightning is almost useless in this fight. Almost...

Hoarah loux still dominating without his grab attacks is impressive, man would clean house in all rounds if those grabs work on the bosses.
Fire Giant and Placi ganking Godfrey must feel like some sweet sweet revenge.

Yeah if Beast and Mali had two full health bars they would be unbeatable. As it stands they both share only one bar....half/half.
I'm glad the Ancestor Spirit got a W because I always thought that was a cool design and concept with good music
You really get a good perspective on the size of Godfrey's shockwaves and fissure attack from these angles. Bet he could split a continent in half without much of a sweat.

At the last round, godfrey was litteray between a divine Draconic laser nuke and a endless cosmic world destroyer and somehow survive both and taunted, I can't stop laughing

Well, considering who I was cheering for, my favourite is definitely best dragon Placi. Followed by Maliketh and Hoara Loux.
Also Placi getting stuck on the map's border "to avoid the giant's volcano attack, definitely" was very smart.
...and some VERY unexpected wins.
Funny how my 2 favorite legends won the first round.
Placidusax and Godfrey are simply the best.
Please do either a "Can any boss survive Prime Astel?" or a "Can any boss survive the Astel Duo?" video soon! (Astel is one of my favourite legend bosses.)
That first option would cool. Especially if Bjorn gave him some of his cut attacks.

I think so, based on what I saw in the video where Bjorn played as him. He teleports in upside down, does the gravity lift attack, and then teleports away.
I love how once Maliketh enters 2nd phase he just slaughters every boss he can despite his hp being lower than most

When he said equal 17k hp I immediately went "hehe, let er rip Maliketh, easy win for you😈" cause since he has like only 10k hp normally that's a massive buff for him and debuff for everyone else.
It says 25k HP (tier 17). That's a boost to everyone's HP except Fire Giant and Placidusax. Rennala had the biggest buff (both HP and damage), while FG had the biggest debuff.
That being said, any HP buff massively favors Maliketh because he kiils at pretty much the same speed no matter how much HP the opponent has (his physical damage really only matters on low HP enemies), while his own weaknesses are his low HP and poise.
I like how with that he still died first on equal round 2😂
I was wondering why that one round starts with the ancestral buttocks, an unexpected development!
Otherwise maybe you can consider shuffling the positions across rounds? The way it is now, we usually see similar sub-battles every round.

Sorry to be that guy, but i've just got a small complaint about the equal rounds. I believe you mentioned before that scaling (like tier 17 or 18, area scaling i mean) changes their HP. I don't think you should have all bosses at equal hp, since the bigger bosses have a major disadvantage with their bigger hitboxes, while the smaller bosses thrive. I say leave the hp setting for the area scaling to adjust, that way bigger bosses have more hp than smaller ones. In this case, the ones that won the equal rounds were Maliketh (very evasive), Rennala (small hitbox compared to the rest), and Godfrey (also small hitbox compared to the rest). as you can see, all the small bosses won, and the big ones died mostly early. I think this would be a good way to truly call them equal. Thanks for the videos :D
also, between round repeats, placement of each character relative to one another should be randomized as best you can
@@donsimons9810 that would help too, so that relatively weak bosses won't keep getting placed in between powerhouses
Equal scaling is specifically meant for the bosses with better abilities to thrive, rennala won thanks to being the only one with range, godfrey won thanks to aoe and maliketh won thanks to being Him, the reason the bigg bosse died so easily was because they were placed right next to these exceptions + fire giant had less health than normally

This was great, though for future battle royales, would it be possible to change up the positioning of the combatants occasionally? That way you wouldn't get the same groups always fighting each other, and then could get more varied outcomes.

Malekith is my favourite boss in the game so he's definitely my favourite Legend boss. And he got the coldest kill in this video when he and Fortisaxx had their air duel along with 2 wins. So that's nice.
Godfrey/Hoarah constantly throwing hands with two of the biggest bosses in the game is delightful and fitting.
Maliketh did pretty well he took out Astel and Placi and the fire giant if I'm not mistaken, that's impressive considering he did this with his health below 50%, it's true that the other bosses did their part but still I'm impressed
would love to see a Tag Team Tournament! 2 Bosses battling other 2 Bosses.

I think you should change up the starting positions of the bosses throughout the video, because for example bosses next to Malekith tend to die very early and changing the starting positions could make it so you don't always have the same bosses at the end.

It might have behooved you to scramble their starting positions a bit more for each round. It seems like in general the same matchups kept playing out because they were positioned near the same opponents at the start of each round.

A suggestion you maybe could do for the next time you do one of these vidoes. Use the Ost from the Boss that wins one round in the round after that and then repeat that cycle. (Tho i guess if for say we had an strength gaap it would get kinda samy (looking at you Malenia))

Chadfrey litteraly tanked a divine draconic lazer nuke and a world ending cosmic cataclysm and somehow survive and taunted at the end !
We should all keep in mind out of all bosses in elden ring, fortissax is the farthest one to his prime, dude was ALWAYS described as the strongest and mightiest dragon, this means he is not just stronger than the placidusax we fought, but he is stronger than prime placidusax himself! Who was also a beast, considering his body is all harmed, one of his heads have been choped and he also used to have 8 wings instead of just 2. Sadly fortissax fought death inside godwyns dream and today he is even weaker than his sister, lansseax.
Edit:for people saying fortissax isnt stronger than prime placidusax, well its debatable but placidusax had more overrall powers because of his proximity to the greater will but fortissax was probably physically stronger and keep in mind he manipulates death, just like radahn, they both are described as the strongest of their races so in my opnion prime fortissax>prime placidusax
Slight correction I’m pretty sure he’s just the strongest ANCEINT dragon. So prime placi is still probably the strongest but he is stronger than gransax who is giant.

How exactly would his prime be more powerful than the current one? he can literally shoot death rays now, which kill instantly when they touch someone.
It's just the gameplay that doesn't let it show its true capabilities.

A suggestion: perhaps next time for each round make the "spawn lack of a better word" random this way the bosses might fight different bosses and we may have a different outcome

I really love these videos, but maybe one suggestion. Could you try placing bosses much closer to each other, cuz most of the time when they far like here, they just fight pretty much in certain groups, like godfrey placi and giant were smashing each other all the time, same on the other side. I guess if all would be placed as close to center of arena as possible there would be more carnage to enjoy :D

23:39 - So was I, Bjorn. *sigh* So was I... But hey, Rennala did end up winning a later round, so she wasn't this video's Godrick/Gideon. Neither was the other underdog... or undermoose, rather. That was Fortissax and, a bit surprisingly, Astel to a lesser extent. Not being the Snowfield version really hurt the latter's chances, apparently, whereas the former is the one needing help the most. Not a single round without 46 being one of the first to die, but that's because he was unfairly paired against Maliketh all the time.
Anyway, favorite legend bosses (as well as favorites overall) are Godfrey and Placidusax. Really enjoy fighting these guys. Fairly light on bullshit mechanics/gimmicks and reasonably tanky... although I despise Placi's running back path in a game otherwise relatively free from this BS gameplay design besides Rennala.
