Hey Dazzlers! This project was definitely a labor of love! I, honestly, thought this was going to be a fail. Because I didn’t use enough resin, I really had to “work” the resin to get my entire canvas covered. The high cost of the resin kept me motivated but I will use the right amount of resin going forward. Nevertheless, I’m so happy I stuck with it because the end results were beautiful! Word of advice: use the calculator (linked in the description box) to determine how much resin you’ll need before starting your project. This project should have been much easier than it was. I have been watching your channels for the last month and have SO MANY PROJECTS TOO DO . From your ideas., that when we go to Micheal's, Jo-Ann, Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, etc. My boyfriend just get the basket and follow me all over the store like a lost puppy. I go in 20 different directions, simply because in my head and on my notes. I am trying to do 5 different projects at one time. I would to take this time and thank you for your talented blessing you have share with us. Please keep the videos coming. You can also buy resin at Home Depot and Lowes and it is much more economical - It is all the same - The world "art resin" means nothing, resin is resin - I did a bathroom vanity top using this method and sealing it with two final resin coats - You did a beautiful job because there is a learning curve when working with resin - I love the first piece
I want a backsplash like this...amazing! How is that vanity top holding up to water and wear and tear?
My favorite was the first piece as well.

@@DelilahZoe It is holding up great - This is the stuff they do bar tops with so it can stand up to a lot of abuse - I just did an old coffee table for my TV room with different colored buttons - I glued them down in a design and then poured two coats of resin (waiting between coats) - It looks whimsical and will be easy to maintain with all the use it will get.
@@DelilahZoe Backsplash may be tough - This stuff flows until it hardens - Will you did it flat and then apply it to the wall?

I love it! I'm looking to do this with my daughter when we buy. She's very much into art and I think it would make the house more yours when you make your own art and hang it on your wall!

Wooow-I absolutely love these pieces! I was literally sitting in my living room floor with five canvases...now I wish I had some resin. I think I’ll dave that project for a piece in my hallway. Very nice work.

I did enjoy it. Particularly appreciated how you stated the volumes and mix, as I'm about to use resin for the first time and on a small art project, also appreciate the drizzle technique. Beautiful colour combination for that purpose.

I've worked with resin , it us so exspensive and I've failed on most projects, but I am preparing to do my first canvas with cut glass / glitter etc .
