I did not remove the power steering pump at all plenty of space to get it out so long as you slide the power steering fluid reservoir out of its bracket and get aome more slack on the hose. I needed that slack even more when unloading the tensioner to get the new belt on.

I don't know about the '06-'08 Pilots but there's not much reason to remove the PS pump on the '05 which I've owned for over eight years unless you're hell-bent on removing it through the top. The tensioner can also be removed through the bottom...just have to move it around and it will just squeeze through the opening. I've replaced the belt and tensioner twice with the last time being two days ago.

Hi, thank you for sharing this video. Question did you turned the top bolt on the tensioner counter clockwise ? Thanks.

You have all that room, on a 03 there's no room for a socket plus a breaker bar

    2006 Pilot has 19mm not 14mm. 3/4 inch in a pinch.

Thats with the hydraulic tensioner im guessing, i have a 2010 crosstour with the same one, im trying to find a video thats actually showing the detail of this thing and what it bolts into, the ac bracket or the engine block so i can switch to the mechanical one, cause the cheap aluminum that makes up that 19mm tension point sucks

Must be aftermarket because my 2006 Pilot is a 14mm through the pulley itself.
