Here’s my planer...Do I love it, or Hate it?

Thanks for doing the review. I’ve been eyeballing this machine for about a year and just pulled the trigger on it yesterday because they’re on sale right now for 10% off. Just FYI, they do make a wheel caster kit (from Laguna) for this machine, and it integrates into the machine cabinet, it was only $135. What gauge wiring did you use? The video on the website suggests 10 gauge but all the 220 plug receptacles that you mount to the end only go up to 12 gauge. Also, I notice the huge warning in the manual about voiding the warranty if you move the speed select knob when the machine is NOT running. That seems odd. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching! I will most likely get the casters from Laguna. As for writing, I used 10 gauge wire with a 30 amp breaker/receptical. Not sure about the speed adjustment. I haven’t moved it from the faster speed since I’ve had it.

I am looking for a new planer. I have been told to stay away from planers that the bed moves rather than the head. Have you seen any issues with this? What was the warranty for that?

The bed on this machine doesn’t move. There is a feed roller by the cutter head that holds the stick down.
