the sad part is that all our livestock and pets are forced to try and live on these products such as gm lucerne hay etc. The g e feed is what is causing race horses to break down on the track, my poultry will not eat it and my dog wont eat it. In a flood I bought hay to feed the sheep. They all ran up expecting to eat. Took one sniff and walked away
I've seen this absurd claim before, and I always respond the same way. There are a lot of small companies trying to avoid GMO food because there are customers out there who will pay more for GMO free food. These companies will pay good money to have foods tested to identify if they are genetically engineered.
So you have a great business opportunity. Your pets and poultry can identify GMO food for you and probably won't charge you much for the service. But it's a mystery to me how chickens and sheep can be so smart.
And to think that I voted for the president that allowed these guys to do this! Yikes! When you elect your president, make sure the president fights to feed America ! Not poison America!

all the way we knew it in india that gm seeds are harmful. we have also lost our organic corn, soy and brinjal variety. they are rarest of the rare find now. as a child I remember how our food was so natural and healthy. what can be more revealing. this documentary only voices the concern world over. our elected representatives could be so indifferent. this is like forcing this through our gullet.

I am from the south of France and I have monsanto near where I live. This makes me afraid to buy from my local supermarché. I will grow my own vegetables now, as I do not know 100% if the supermarché sells modified produce.
Check your soil for heavy metals and other problems. Don't use Milorganite fertilizer. Are you going vegan? What is the plan, if any?

Very informative! But what they forgot to add is that in order to receive an organic label for a product, it needs only 20% of organic components/ingredients. The rest can be conventional. This means there is no 100% organic produce, which is devastating...

Good first step, but unfortunately most of our water supply/rain water is also polluted at this point so unless they stop using this stuff planting organic is kinda a moot point. Not only that but the amount of micro-plastics we consume in most everything now. We all need to wake up and stand up to this before we kill ourselves and our planet completely.

Pay attention to the details before listening to something like this. Unfortunately, not everyone has a background in science, so many people have to rely upon the opinions of "experts." There's probably no way around this, but for those with ears to hear, this is what I got from the first five minutes of the above video (and no, I will not be watching any more of it):
FIRST: Several times in the first 5 minutes, this video implies that DDT was not safe. DDT was safe and was vindicated after the fact ... but it was too late by that point since the pseudo-scientist snake-oil saleswoman Rachel Carson had already stirred up such an anti-science public hysteria against it.
SECOND: I am a molecular biologist and I happen to know that the consensus among biologists and the scientific community is not as it is represented by the smart looking guy in a lab coat with a European accent here.
Therefore, I strongly suggest not taking the above video seriously. It is clearly made by anti-science alarmist agitators with a political agenda. I'm not saying that foods shouldn't be FDA approved; I am saying that from a scientific point of view, there is nothing categorically or automatically wrong with GM foods.

I have been a farmer all my life. I know the affects that GMO's have had on our food supply. And it is NOT good.

If someone is going to make a video concerning a scientific matter, and if they wish it to be compelling and to be taken seriously, they ought to "proofread" or edit out things that will discredit their own message.
Also, if you look closely at my statement above, you will see that I did not say that all GM foods are good. What I said is that GM is not categorically bad - in other words, just because a food is genetically modified does not mean that it is automatically harmful or less healthy than (so-called) "natural" foods. In fact this is not the case. Many "natural" things or substances are quite unhealthy, and many engineered or laboratory produced things are not harmful and even helpful to the environment and to humans (DDT being a case in point).
So, I am not discrediting your personal experience with GMOs* - though your experience is probably anecdotal unless you have taken the effort to conduct a scientific study on your farm, and unless you have used every GMO and found it to be equally harmful to the food supply (I am curious to hear more details of what you mean by this).
(*small note on punctuation: unless it is possessive, as in "That is the GMO's best feature," you should not use an apostrophe; if it is plural, it should be "GMOs" ... but don't feel bad that you made this error since the person who posted the video made the very same punctuation error in the video title).

Many GMO's are perfectly safe. You have to understand the actual proteins that are being expressed and ingested and not just assume it's bad because one doesn't understand it.
Reginald: GMO's are not perfectly safe and your statement is false. All independent studies show gmo's cause organ damage including leaky gut. Monsanto has paid for numerous self serving studies which are not anything but garbage. Monsanto lies and you have been sold a bill of ills.
The difference in farming practices alone for such gm seeds should be enough reason for anyone to not want to support it. Besides obvious health concerns for humans and animals alike, GMO farming toxifies land, food, and water.

Organic farming does not use chemical pesticides and hybridization through cross-breeding is not nearly the same as gene splicing, which DOES have a negative impact. The plot that GMOs are solving world hunger is laughable, except it's really not funny. The proof is in the pudding. Look into the countries who have banned them after Monsatan tried to push them on their land/people. GMO farming destroys the beneficial mycelial and bacterial colonies within the soil.
