Anna has weapons to use. I still can't believe how she didn't win a single title. Shame.

That 7:58 point is exactly why I think Anna K struggled. She has a great naturally attacking game with a lot of natural athleticism, but she also could play with a lot of variety. Tactically how do you put that all together when you have a slow serve…probably was so mentally exhausting when you don’t get as many aces and free points like some her bigger stronger peers. So many tools she could have been a multi-slam winner. That point and the following show her talent. That low perfect volley when Venus hit it at her feet in full speed, very few women in current WTA top 20 could pull that shot off. Honestly besides being beautiful, she had an amazing game. Would have loved to watch her play a full 10-15 year career. What a player 🎾 looking back this was an important match for both their careers. Had Anna had won, she probably went on to another echelon, Venus’ tenacity and fight won her this match.

I honestly believe she could’ve won a few titles but not a slam not during that era of woman’s tennis with many stars with varying styles she wouldn’t survive especially when the 200’s came she was good but not great especially not enough to win a slam

Criminally underrated player. Definitely had multi Slam potential. I think all the ogling over her looks and the backlash suggesting she cared more about endorsements than winning eventually got to her head.

I've watched this entire game. Tennis is a game of edequete, class, and sportsmanship.
Why is it a "good play to hit Anna"! Why's that ever a "good play" for an announcer to say that.
And after that she never takes a break, after getting pegged in her chest she didn't ask...so what happened here??
I see how Venus on the ropes inexcusabley goes to the bench, and judge says nothing throws of Anna's momentum.
And it isn't cool to me to see someone come dancing into you celebrating their victory taunting.
But im a just a golfer.
