Community | PL Inspires Employability Day helps students learn about future career opportunities

Secondary school students on the PL Inspires programme recently joined Community Trust staff at The Brick Community Stadium for an employability day.
The students took part in a series of workshops from local businesses and Community Trust staff. These included:
- A hospitality workshop from Sodexo
- Construction company Link Contracting delivered a ‘The Price is Right’ session
- A Media Careers workshop from the Trust’s Marketing and Communications’ Manager Dan Newton
The workshops gave the students the opportunity to learn about different career paths and opportunities that they may want to pursue once they leave school.
They also developed some practical experiences of setting tables and conducting a press conference through the Sodexo and Media workshops.
Alongside the workshops, students also enjoyed a career-focused tour of The Brick Community Stadium to learn about the different roles of employees at the stadium.
