I can’t believe the pricing you outlined. Your fabric prices in the States are incredibly less than here in Australia. You are so lucky. Gorgeous fabrics.
These are deep sales-fabric mart is great for that! I lived in Europe for several years and between the costs and VAT, fabric was expensive. But often quality was incredible as well.
Ooh my local hobby lobby has a maroon lace on sale for $5/yard, and I've been hesitating but you talking about a lace robe made me think about making a lace cardigan!
And now I too want a lace cardigan!

This linen is such a score! I did not have to purchase 10 yards-I think the limit is 10 yards, meaning you can't buy more than that.

It is the dead of winter here! So I knew wouldn’t sew them. But I had forgotten I ordered the pieces of black fabric. Lol.
Where do you get good quality knits? I agree about polyester.
Look for the fiber content. I personally prefer cotton knots and rayon knots. I’ve found great quality ones on Fabric mart, fabric.com and mood. Melanted Fabrics seems to have a gorgeous collection of high quality knots but I have not shopped there yet. I will be soon!

That linen blew my mind-never imagined it would be that high quality and the colors are even more beautiful in person!
I also bought some linen from fm. I want to make some clothing. I like clothes that are more fitted. Any ideas on patterns?
I’ll think up some to share this weekend. Linen does stretch out as you wear it though. So you have to keep that in mind.
