I have a mulberry tree out front that I didn’t even know was a mulberry until last fall. The squirrels were stealing the fruit faster that I could notice it. 😂 This is the very first fruit I have even gotten from a fruit tree in my backyard. Only my berries bushes have produced so far. You are blessed to have so much being productive. I’m hopeful in years to come I’ll have some abundance myself! Happy Growing.

That’s why it’s contained in a bed. But it also freezes and dies back here where it’s -25 so only grows 4 months of the year. Hard to spread and be too invasive unlike in zip codes where it never dies back. Always nuances to plants that must be observed and learned.

I almost went with my neighbor to the Friends School sale. And new friend I met at Joann’s invited me to one at the Community College I think. Next year. I have a new large border garden around the property that I want to fill with native perennial plants and grasses!

Hey Ms. Linda! They are so easy to grow from seed. And so many varieties that aren’t sold in store. I’ve become a fan since I started growing them.

Well, we will see what’s happening in the grow bags. They bloomed so beautifully then went through a different stage. This is my first time growing this variety. I have more kinds and some I started from seed growing now too.

I buy way too much from them too. But I view it as supporting a good cause. It’s part of my philanthropy. 😂 I actually got the wasabi radish as a free seed from them. It grew amazingly in my greenstalk.

I’m growing both of those! The wasabi radish is too hot for me but my son loves it! The golden beets are growing nicely. They are one of my faves. Happy Growing!

I finally did it! I got my first sewing machine with embroidery over 20 years ago, and never used it! I’m gonna pull that one out next week and figure that one out. This new one is a breeze to use. Can’t believe I waited so long to try it!

Yes, these stayed in the raised beds and went completely dormant. Then grew back. First time I achieved this with strawberries but before I had in pots and greenstalk-a couple came back in the greenstalk but none in the pots. I think it depends a lot on where they are planted and how cold it gets and for how long. Might be variety dependent. I’m still learning with the strawberries. You could test both options and see what works best for you. Good luck!

I haven’t done anything. They may not be prevalent here in my climate? Or it’s too early in my season for them? Maybe it’s all the herbs and onions in my garden? I don’t know. But I pray they stay away! 🙏🏾

I live in zone 4 and found it dies over winter in containers. I placed it in my raised beds last year and finally got them to regrow. Pulling out by the roots is an easy way to keep under control here. And I get an early harvest! In warmer climates where it’s perennial and never dies back, I can see it being a real issue in the ground. But for me, it’s a delight! I mainly use it in tea.

Yes, I love growing different varieties and tasting all the differences. I have several new to me varieties of mint that I can’t wait to harvest this summer! It’s the little things that keep it fun for me in the garden.

Fruit trees are tricky for me here in zone 4 but I’m learning a lot and keeping them alive and fruiting!

Yes, it’s in the ground. It’s very short because a deer nibble the top two winters ago. I’m happy it survived and continues to grow and now set fruit. I believe this one is my Evans Ball or something like that. I can’t remember all the names off the top of my head just yet as I have a lot of tree varieties.

Plant them now. It’s not too late! They bloom beautifully in the fall!
