@@shaksudh2943 i dont think either are very agressive. I have gbr and they are nice to everyone in the tank
4yrs late but new to hobby, love learning about these and really want some, i heard your trick lol
I love this guy. He's like a cool uncle teaching me how to take care of my fish through a laptop screen.
Exactly!
He's already a professional at carrying someone's interest in a video with his knowledge. I hope he starts making his own videos soon.
Love the video..but still missing the important details ...in short..when the spawn after wigglers stage till free swimming frys are always keep dying everyday....everybodys breeding Gbr this will be the problem to encounter....Thru my perseverance i lock down that technique..no ones sharing that...even Him..doesnt till it..
denzky23 f
hes a supplier for aqaurium co op
@@denzky23 What are you talking about? He literally says exactly what he does. Its really not as difficult as some people make it out to be. The fish lay the eggs, the eggs hatch and the fry stay clumped up for a day or two, then theyre free swimming. One parent usually guards them from the other. If after 3 try's of breeding the parents arent taking care of them, he removes the eggs and hatches them in a breeding box.
Dean is the man. Thing is, he doesnt need to make youtube videos, and theres too much work in it. He's interested in traveling, collecting fish, breeding fish and enjoying his fish.
Wow I went to Aquarium co-op 5/6/18 and bought 15 black neon tetras on sale! And the gbr's really caught my eye. So I bought a male and female, tonight 5/11 they spawned and guarding eggs in the quarantine tank. I just want to thank everyone at Aquarium co-op. Great experience and I will definitely be back.
I love how the true masters like Dean and Gary Lang are so free with information.
I would love to have a fish bred by Dean. Knowing how much care he puts into selection and the breeding. I love these kinds of videos! Thanks Cory!
Thanks to Cory and Jimmy for getting Dean on camera. Thanks to Dean for being so generous with his knowledge and time. I learned a bunch! 👍

Thank you all, Cory for showing and Dean for teaching us.
THANK YOU!
Clearly I wasn't the only one impressed by his netting lol #nothingbutnet
I have seen so many videos about breeding ramirezi but never heard a tip as great as; "daily add some baby brine to let them know there is food for their kids". You MUST be right. Thank you for posting this. I have found it right in time.
i love this guy, every video you do with him is so enlightening, i cant believe he got negative feedback on his first video "the light caught", Im so glad it did not scare him off, this man is just a massive vat of fish knowledge

You guys are always making some of the best aquarium content on CZcams, great job Jimmy, Cobe, Joel, and Dean with this video
Had success with reference to this setup.
Please do more of this kind.
Maybe different types?
Like Egg scatters, bubble nest, mouth breeding etc.
I found that so interesting. I like his rationale for cover for the back, I have never done that but will now.
viedo quality is 100% great info! nice to see his rams instock at the Aquarium Co-OP beautiful fish!!!
Thanks Dean and Cory! Another awesome and informative video.
Amazing! Informative, concise with supportive information and logical reasoning for each item. I loved this! I don't have any Rams, because I don't know how successfully they can be kept in with community fish (they seem to like it much warmer and I don't know about aggression,) but it has made me interested in researching this beautiful species and perhaps having a species only tank in the future! Great job Dean and Cory!
Hello from England. An excellent video and what a wealth of knowledge. Thank you.
I love my GB Rams! Thanks for the breeding tips!
Great information! Thanks, Dean and Cory & Co.
I could listen to Dean all day every day
Have a batch of german blue ram fry sitting next to me in my bedroom tank from the rams I got from the co op! Awesome video, Dean is the master!
Probably some of my rams
Wondered that myself. If so, it was a pleasure to keep and breed some of your rams.
Dean seems to be the nicest guy ever!! Thank you for this tutorial!!
Some of my students think I'm really nice, the others well they just don't know for sure. ;)
Awesome video. Dean is the best. Truly an inpiration.

Those are some Ninja Net Skills right there:) Great video. Always learn a ton when you have Dean on.
Awesome vid! Love the presentation and wealth of information. After spawning Bettas, Angelsfish, and guppies mostly, I've been thinking about giving Rams a try. Thanks!
Thansk for the broken pot idea. Gonna use it with Kribensis pairs I have in a tank!
Thank you so much Dean for sharing your knowledge so willingly with all of us!
FINALLY! someone else that uses Dawn!!! love Dawn, use it on EVERYTHING!!
Totally gonna give this method a go.

Good information and presentation. Thanks for putting this together.
Thank you for all the info! My rams just laid today im so excited!!
Good luck! Sharpen those brine shrimp skills
We love you Dean 🙏
Awesome video! Great camera work and really informative.
I am a concreter.., in the "OLD" days we used to throw the colour on top of the concrete.., ochre mixed with cement to make a coloured driveway, patio, etc.
I found the best thing to clean it off me was Morning Fresh.., an anti bacterial. anti fungal dish washing liquid......, that was 40 years ago and I am STILL using it to this day.
I use it as my daily shower soap and I found that it will clear up tinnea almost instantly (bonus discovery) and it makes the perfect wetter soil for your garden as it doesn't contain any salts.
I use it on everything.., including cleaning MY aquariums and filter and have never had any fish die from it. ha
Just got my first pair, so I think I got a pair. This video will definitely will help. Thank you. I also have a pair of angel fish in the same acuarium.
I realized you are a genius when you said the reason behind feeding live brine shrimp! I will deff be doing this and I will protect the secret lol
Love the info from the pros!!
Great video ..👍👍..It Will Help For Beginners Who Want To Breed Rama ☺️
Yet another amazing informative video loved it
Excellent video would love to see a lot more of these
Excellent video. Thanks Cory, Jimmy, and Dean
We all know that Cory is a great guy, but isn't Jimmy the best guy that we hardly ever get to see on camera?
OH, Thank you so much.. I have 8 Rams coming next week..I feel so much more confident now that I saw how the "Master Breeder" does it..
Thanks Cory. Great video!
Just recently started a 75 gallon Ram tank - I’m loving it ❤️ Also , 40 gallon live breeder tank .
How many rams were comfortable in your 75? I've got 5 now, and thinking of adding 5 more.
Love your videos with him!
I have always used dawn on a lot of my fish supplies too. Everyone admonishes us for it but I have never had a problem.
Great video the k you been waiting for this one 👌🏻
I have really been enjoying the videos with Dean, very impressive dude, can tell he puts a ton of thought in to his methods.
Probably why I don't sleep at night, always trying to think up ways to improve or save time.
Haha yeah; sleeping with the fishes (on the brain) not the worst thing I suppose. Heard you might be on Real Fish Talk, can't wait!
