- The X-Bolt 2 is the next generation of award-winning bolt-action rifles from Browning. Once again, this new rifle has placed the concept of Total Accuracy in the crosshairs, with every feature working together to help you shoot your best at the range and in the field. New features include the Vari-Tech stock that offers the adjustment of a chassis-style stock while retaining the traditional Browning look and without the weight.

Looks like a nasty ol' savage with those "patchwork colors" on the grip, fore end and cheek.
Finally, a intelligent adjustable stock. Take note legacy gun manufacturers. This is how it gets done.
I hope they come with walnut stocks
Great new lineup of rifles, Browning!!
Looks AWESOME!!! Way to Go Browning!!!
Some art-work going on here. Really nice to see Browning continually innovating their line-up, rifles and pistols alike. What I do miss greatly, and with me many sport shooters in the Netherlands, is the disproportionally few/no updates on the Browning pistols. There's literally nothing to find on the newly released (shot show) Buck Marks, expect on the Browning website. Even then, you won't find that info on the EU website. This deducts significant points, in my humble opninion.
Thank you for releasing this I want it. And thank you for choosing rh only the best side of a rifle to be on.
I wish they would bring the BOSS system back on their rifles
The new stock looks awesome. Hope that they'll release adjustable wooden stocks as well.
Does this new stock has aluminium chassis? Would be great if it did.
The new trigger - as far as I am concerned, a major disappointment. 3 lbs being the minimal setting is a far cry from a "featherlike trigger" and waaay too heavy. I guess they don't want people to tune their triggers down to 1 lbs or lower due to safety reasons. It would be great if Browning developed and offered different trigger options, for example a fully adjustable 2-stage trigger. Guess we'll just have to add 150-ish USD for a Timney.
Dang it Browning. "featherweight 3lbs"? Come on. Down to 2.5 or better 2lbs is what most LR hunters are looking for. I was excited till I heard that.
Adjustable.. from x to x?
Your gonna cry over half a pound lol
Yeah apparently a feather is 3 pounds lmao🤣🤣🤣. They really need to address that heavy pull weight
3lbs trigger?? that's kind of heavy.. i need 1.5 to 2 lbs
@@kenglee88heck at least 2.5
Would be nice if you would come out with some straight wall rifles!!
The LR wow
Disappointed with hearing the trigger is only adjustable down to 3lbs. As if Browning hasn’t heard complaints about their “feather” trigger in the past.
This looks really nice thanks for the review but does it come in 30-06. I hope it does 👍🏻
If you look on there website it says it will be available in 30 06.
@@mathewtuttle8011 I already did that same day but thank you for answering the comment 👍🏻
How about bringing the Browning Maral to the USA? Then, give it the ergonomic scout rifle treatment.
I literally just bought the x-bolt two days ago and now I see this :/ Is there any way I could order the stock/lower section so I can upgrade my new x-bolt 300 win mag???
So your going to do Is design a rifle for every hunter unless your left-handed
Yeah that’s my concern as well. I’m right handed but left eye dominant.
No love for us lefties
Said the same thing. I have an xbolt and it's hands down the best gun I own. I refuse to buy a right handed gun though so that's on them
When will it come to Germany? No tests, no review
Where’s the Stainless?
To bad that they said no left hand models for about 2-3 years
Bring back the Hi-Power.
Only problem with browning in Canada is when you buy one you are on your own. No warranty and no help with anything.
Not true. I have had browning rifles repaired on warranty in Canada. Even had one replaced.
You guys almost got it right. Stop making your triggers so terribly heavy
Does it come I'm a left handed?
2-3 years per Browning customer service
"we didn't just create a new rifle" - cause you didn't create a new rifle, you made a new stock and trigger for your current rifle (which is a great rifle sure). You know when you have a meeting that could have been an email, this is a 3 minute video that should have been a blog post about a new stock that's cool and adjustable. is it "2" worthy? doesn't seem like it. if it is "2" worthy spend a video explaining the differences. I hope your marketing team doesn't find out about Beretta; the Beretta 92 would become the Beretta 206.
They also changed up the receiver, bolt and trigger.
For 1500$ that trigger should be adjustable down to 1.5 or 2 pounds. 3 pounds? Yeah, not impressed.
I will never buy a Browning again I bought a X Bolt with dura touch coating just to have the coating turn to a sticky mush.
That was a problem with the stock coating, duratouch. Browning is currently replacing them for no charge. Not Brownings fault. Send yours in and have them replace the stock.
No left handed models? No thanks. Rather spend my money on a company with more left handed options
