This is the beginning of a (kind of) Halloween marathon where I talk about spooky games that aren't scary enough to keep me up at night.

End of Small Sanctuary - Silent Hill 3
Fever Chill - Silent Hill 4: The Room
Save Theme - Resident Evil 4

Ghostwires city is one of the few games that feels like an actual genuine city instead of a mass copy paste

It's one of the most sensible and thoughtful commentaries about this game. I'm not a huge gamer or such, but Ghostwire just keeps me coming back to it again and again. As a fan of Asian culture, especially Japanese, I can say that this game is one of the best images of it. Most gamer, unfortunately, assess gameplay and stuff like this. I understand that, but there's so much deeper in Ghostwire than they see. So many details, it's a huge dive into their mythology and urban legends. Every side mission is based on one. That's crazy! So, I'm happy that some people realise that Ghostwire isn't for everyone, you should see and know more to really understand it.

Great review, liked and subscribed. Just started playing again yesterday, and I agree--the feeling that this is a good even a great game is not a fluke or rose-tinted bias. I think a lot of games just need time to give them the context and perspective that helps people realize that, yeah that one seemingly mid forgotten and sometimes lambasted game was actually very good. Really enjoyed this video, these are the type of video essay Reviews that are 90% of what I watch on youtube; I don't review games, but I play a lot of them, and its the discourse and analysis of the strengths and weaknesses as well as what I love about the games I'm playing that draws me to reviews like this. In that regard, I think you have a lot to offer on all those fronts and to the communities for these games. If I had any constructive observations, it would only be to double down on the confidence in your content--this was already so much more valuable to me than gamespot, ign, and gamesradar reviews would ever be because your passionate about it. That shines through here, and the video reflects that. So let it shine through, as much as you can stand to let it. Then shine through some more. TLDR I know lol. Keep gaming; reach higher.

this game was pretty cool and the ending was amazing. It is basically a ubisoft open world game but shorter and with a lot of charm. I feel like they could have gone a lot further will the horror aspect and fleshed out the combat. I would have liked it to be a first person action horror game with supernatural powers and a goofy sidekick

It is a brilliant game mostly because its novelty of gameplay but also story concept. It is unique. However, I recommend this to be played in English if you are from a Western Country. Following text on screen sometimes takes off from the gameplay..

This was me. I got it around launch as one of my first PS5 titles. Now about 2 years later, after a raft of great and a massive buttload of terrible releases, coming back to Ghostwire Tokyo yesterday made me realize: this is actually a very good game! The kind of quality and completeness executed at triple AAA level throughout the whole package, that after seeing Gollum Redfall Starfield and so many more makes me appreciate just how rare a well-developed complete game that is also very good and just fun to play has become lately. Cheers, keep gaming.

My issues with this game is that the whole thing feels so empty. And every quest in the game outside of perhaps the main quest side quest feels vapid and samey. With that in mind I still really enjoyed this game, but I feel like its overall design philosophy was very flawed.
The Microsoft leaks shows that there are plans for a sequel to this game, it's possible that it's already in the middle of development right now. I believe in terms of world design and general gameplay progression that they can make something really special with a sequel to this game.
