Omg this theme exactlyyyy. There are so many good quotes from the film. When Jo said "You will be bored of him in two years and we will be interesting forever" I felt that and when Laurie said "and I'll watch" my HEART BROKE. You should really take a chance and watch "The Little Women" from the 90s. It's one of my absolute favorites. It has Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst, Christian Bale, Gabriel Byrne and Claire Danes in it. Such an amazing story, especially around Christmas time.

i really recommend the book, and i loved the 2019 little women movie! i listened to the audiobook and the whole time i kept thinking 'wow that's a beautiful quote' so i kind of wish i had annotated the book instead.

I grew up watching the 1994 film and love it! I read the book this year for the first time, and Laurie and Amyâs relationship in the book is SO cute, so read it just for that!! đ

Read the book! I've read it at least 20 times since I was about six (Early Reader) never disappoints. Commentary about 1860s life in New England.
I have such a soft spot for this movie. It was mine and my boyfriendâs first date movie. It was such a good movie. We both loved it

OHMYGOD you need to watch the winona ryder little women movie. It's so good
Little Women was my first classic and it got me hooked on others! Louisa May Alcott was progressive for her time and the character Jo is actually based off of her and her real life. With all of the history behind this book, it makes the book even more interesting and beautiful!
I don't plan on watching Little Women but this spread is so cute

This is such a beautiful theme! I am also using a square journal for my reading journal this year and Iâm still getting a hand of how to distribute things with the extra space so this was also great for inspiration :) Also! I 1000% recommend reading Little Women (and the other 2 books in that series), itâs an amazing book and generated one of literatureâs OG ship debates among fans about who Laurie should have ended up with. Alcott as a writer is super interesting too, if you ever want to read about who she was and other things she published both under her name and under her pseudonym A. M. Barnard (which she used for the stories that were considered too sensational for a woman to write about).

Little Women is one of my top absolute favorite book. Iâve lost count of how many times Iâve read it. I recommend it, but also recommend the Audible audiobook dramatization (it isnât a straight read of the book as a warning) performed by Laura Dern and a full cast which is so good. And I definitely rec the 90s movie. I watch it practically every Christmas. Itâs so good. I still need to watch the newer BBC one and the Saoirse Ronan one, and while Iâll probably enjoy them I have no doubt the 90s one will always have my heart - especially that soundtrack.

The 1994 movie with Winona Ryder is the best movie adaptation of Little Women.
Have you seen the versions with Katherine Hepburn and the one with Liz Taylor? I love them all, for all very different reasons.
@@emilyreads5207 I love them all too, but the 1994 one is by far my favorite. I felt if you had never read it or seen it before and then you saw the 2019 one you would barely know what was going on it was beautiful but it lost something, still I enjoyed that too.
