I Really enjoyed Season 1 BUT the Man(Jean-Marc Vallee) who Directed Season 1 is Not going to Direct Season 2. This could have a definate impact on how the material turns out. Hopefully the new Director( a Female) has a similiar TALENT of Jean-Marc Valle. Season 1 of Big Little Lies was Nimonated for 13 Emmys. If Season 2 is not up to Snuff of Season 1 then it will be Reflected in its number of Emmy nominations.

That series touched me to a personal level. I saw myself into these women, I saw the women of my life in those characters and I cried buckets. Such a beautiful story and amazing cast, not to mention the direction of every episode was beautifully made

David E. Kelley is a terrific writer, but he was an even better hockey player. I saw him play many times in his college career. Excellent puck-moving defenseman.
I'm glad I finally sat down and watched the show OnDemand. It never loses its grasp and produces enough gasps and laughs to keep focused on the story while embracing its empowering message of female camaraderie despite the differences of the five women.
This show is so importand and I appreciate it so much❤

I really wish they’d do a third season with Michelle Pfeiffer in it and the return of Meryl Streep. I never watched the first season, but Meryl brought me to the second season and then I was playing catch up, watching the whole first season in one weekend 🤣
I hope Sharp Objects gets as much awards attention because Jean Marc Valle has done an incredible job of bringing Gillian Flynns tragic tale to the small screen.

Mr Kelley got a series about women, with a predominantly female cast, and did not cast his brilliant wife in any part.

Is Zoe Kravitz really that good of an actress? Or was she carried by the likes of Reese, Nicole, Laura Dern and Woodley. I mean could you replace her with any other actress in Hollywood and the outcome of this great show sweeping the Golden Globes be the same? The answer is yes, it would be the same no matter who play Zoe Kravitz part. The kids of celebrities only have the genes of their famous parents...not their talent unfortunately.
Nova Quinn surely, she is not the strongest actress in a field of Oscar nominees and winners (literally every other lead) but I think she brought plenty of pathos and was well cast for that role. Who would you have cast instead?
