Thanks for all of your videos , and for sharing your vast knowledge - it really helps me when I am working on my 64 MGB.
The man is a treasure
I used to drive by university motors probably at your time there!
Great chat very informative and good fun, thank you.
I remember meeting John at Brands Hatch MG Car Club race meeting in 1973. I was racing my MGA 1600 MK2 which I still have now on it's second restoration.
this is one of the best videos I have ever seen on you tube thanks to all.. had MGB's myself GT's roadsters and V8 converted roadsters,,,, Thank you again !!
Glad you did well for yourself John, wish I had have joined you in Kalamazoo when you asked me, back in the 70s ,I dont expect you remember ,never mind. All best wishes Stuart Dean.UM Hanwell.
I just loved your presentation. ❤
Great video. That was a long history for Mr. Twist.
Great video. John Twist is a treasure…
Very well done and explained. This may be what is wrong with mine.
That was excellent, thank you. My first car was an MGB-GT I partially restored. My second car a MGB Roadster (an American one, maybe he worked on it)? I totally restored and is still mine today. So being into MGs I know of John Twist of course. I never knew his full story so this was most interesting. I totally didn't follow his car buying rules but it worked out OK for me!
John Twist a definite sleeper even his humour is British 😅.
I have dipped in and out of his videos for years always wondered how he got to use our famous University Motors name.
Now like the guy even more and totally get the not a car guy but love MGs.....Wonderful stuff keep it up

Excellent story and background of John. John should throw this up on his CZcams channel as well so his followers can see it.
