He called Ferguson the best football manager in the world, and after the loss, Ferguson gave him a good homage to be fair. You glossed over the other part of his comment as well where he said he really connected with the working class nature of the fans, with full context itâs really much ado about nothing. So i am now reading that the quote is out of context and that Tyler Adams loved his time at Leeds regardless if the fans hate/heated him. More reporting needs to be done to clear up any confusion. Either way i feel as though i need to smack sense into lovers of the game and of their respective clubs. We should have learnt by now that professionals get paid lots of money to perform and will spend some years at one club and more years at other clubs. Unfortunately football has become a joke, Purely a money game. If we are looking for players to start and finish their careers at one club its just not going to happen! What matters is their attitude during their tenure at the clubs and their respect , it is my opinion that Adams during his Leeds tenure gave it his all!

It was my letter that got picked for Biesla to read, after he got sacked. I was very happy to mention that to my one of my old teachers at school, as I randomly seen him, who is also a Leeds fan.

Been to Bilbao a couple of times, love the place. People are very friendly and helpful. Non tourist prices. Spent most time in and around the old town down by the river. There is a link with the UK regarding coal back in the day. You must have a binge on the fantastic pinchos sold in all the bars, 6 and your full, or 1 pincho 1 small beer then to the next one etc. I guarantee you will be talking to people all night long. Try to have a look at the stadium, it's impressive. I bought a Bilbao shirt whilst there because of the Bielsa connection, like you say, they love him like Leeds Fans do.

Athletic Club are very close to Southampton. A lot of the founders of the Club were from there and the reason they wear red and white stripes is they bought Southampton shirts when they were founded. There used to be a friendly match between the two every year.

Been to Bilbao twice playing walking football against the Basque country at Bilbaos training ground followed by a stadium tour which included a museum and meal by our hosts whom are fond of their history being founded by an Englishman and using a Southampton strip and hence the english term Athletic Bilbao whereby during Francos reign he forced them to use the Spanish term Atletico Bilbao however after Francos reign Bilbao sucessfully re introduced the English term Athletic,the stadium was nice but didn't get to see a game as they were playing away from home during our visits.

very congested city as it is set in a valley with high mountains either side, fortunately with lots of new EEC provided autopistas. Basques are very independent. Athletic Bilbao still only have players who are basque or have strong connection with the city ,(like Yorkshire cricket used to be but sadly are no longer) and the club is a symbol of the Bilbao people. So yes they have sympathies with other regions wanting independence (although as Gaza is independently controlled so not sure what the connection is there) . Also has thousands of Moroccan/Algerian immigrants so they will no doubt be flying the Palestine flag

But upon checking google it stated that in bilbao the average wage is between âŹ35k to âŹ40k when converted to pounds itâs pretty much inline with the uk average salary đź the cost of living their is 48% cheaper. Here in the uk we are being absolutely mugged off.

Always took an interest in Bilbao.Lots of connection between the saints and Bilbao which is one reason for the red and white stripes. A lot of dockers left Southampton to work in Bilbao and were instrumental in setting up the Bilbao team. As far as politics goes when the region asked for help to take children to protect them from Franco's war in 1937 the British government as usual sat on the fence but a publicly funded scheme saw 4000 kids sail to safety from Bilbao to Southampton where local charities cared for them with the teachers and other helpers who came with them. Best of luck to Leeds next season. For what it's worth thought you had better team last season just let down by failure to adjust tactics in games against us.
It's no shock people have woken up to Summerville's talents, many of us have been proven right about him, he's something about him.I loved watching him last season, it was wonderful entertainment and the empathetic response of the fans watching him develop always sadly comes to an end if a club is at the level we've found ourselves in, any youngsters with quality, it's great watching them smash the ranks. Good luck to him, they've got to get some add ones in the deal, though, he'll surprise the naysayers.
