    Nice video bro. Your process on removing the bumper cover is really clear, especially on removing the fender flares CORRECTLY.

    I'll add another heaping of praise for this video. This was really easy to follow and you've got a great instructional style. You explain a few grouped steps that you're about to do, and things to look out for, then go one by one through the list. This is probably the best car tutorial I've ever watched.
    I think the only thing that I would've appreciated some more help on would be techniques when re-installing the headlights. I had to attempt a few different weird angles before it finally worked out, and had to be careful not to scratch the lenses in the process. Having a second set of hands to pull the bumper and ensure no scratching was happening was really helpful.

      Thanks man I really appreciate the positive feedback!! I tried to make it the way I’d wanna see it and I don’t need all the useless talking and I don’t wanna hear about someone’s day I just wanna get this done haha so that’s my approach!! As for your suggestion I think that would be a great video it’s been a while since of done one so maybe I’ll fire up with that. Thanks again bro I’m glad this was useful that’s what I aimed for 👌🏼

    Hey. I took my 17 tacoma to a large toyota dealer for warranty headlight replacement. They broke the fender flares and scratched my bumper as they removed it. Took them 6 hours to screw it up nicely. When they said i broke the flares and put the scratches in i made them review the shop video and made hell. They replaced it all via a body shop. Fast forward a few years i wanted to change my lens to aftermarket. Well I watched your video and i can't believe how easy you made it.... plus i didnt break a thing. Thanks

    Thanks for the video bro. Helped me a ton. When I got to 8:50 I got a bit confused but figured it out. What helped me (when pulling the bumper back from the fender) was to push the bumper-from the inside-toward the side of the car to get the bumper to detach from the fender. Hope that helps folks who might have been confused. Pulling the bumper towards the front of the car didn't help much.

      Tru Alpha808 you gotta go from the grill area under the headlight reach with one arm and get as close to the bumper and fender joint as possible and just push the bumper from the inside out you can actually feel the pinch bracket at the joint push out as close to that as possible it will feel a little scary but that’s how is designed to work and it will pop loose

    • @AshtonRegier
      @AshtonRegier  Před 4 lety +1

      JoviTV Alright it’s pretty easy do you have the fender flare loose? Make sure that’s loose and pulled out once you got that done there is a pinch fitting where the bumper meets the fender all you do is reach under the headlight from the grill area to the fender and bumper joint and push from the inside out and it will pop out it’s scary feeling but designed that way so you won’t hurt it if you feel around you can actually feel the bracket holding the two together and to put it back just line the bumper up with the bracket and push it back in hope this helps let me know if this did the trick or hit me up with any more questions
