- Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Saralananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on the importance of learning to achieve stillness in deep meditation in order to feel the presence of the Divine within ourselves.
When we reach a very calm, alert, focused state of meditation, we begin to feel the joyous nature of our soul - and experience an inner communion.
As Paramahansa Yogananda said: “In the peace of meditation all waves of sensations and thoughts are absent from the mind. In the deeper state of calmness, one perceives in that stillness the moonèd reflection of God’s presence.”
This talk was given at the SRF temple in Fullerton, California, on April 3, 2022.

I was having trouble feeling Master’s presence today during meditation and this lesson helped me realized to “Be still and know that I am God.”

Sitting in stillness after the practice of Guru given techniques and communing with God and receiving His love is the most joyful experience. Before meeting Guru ji, we were just existing but now we are LIVING each moment wrapped in God and Beloved Guru Ji's love. Jai Guru😊
