❤ good point, but I will try to elaborate. Chandramukhi is modern day concept of Meerabai. She was from rajasthan. A land of sand. Yellow, crude and cruel sun scorched. She says , Hara rang daala. Like Lord Krishna was a shower of love for Meerabai, devdas's footsteps caused a similar effect. Meerabai's life was a hardship of turmoil and sacrifice still Prabhu Giridhar's presence helped her through it. Like a shower helps through summer. Chandramukhi was a tawaif. Devdas was on oasis in her desert just like Meerabai. Eventually, as meerabai went into nothingness and disappeared in Lord's arms and only her pale clothes were left behind, the director shows the turn of events of chandramukhi's life though the dress colors of the background dancers and also establishes this point with nuance that for her beloved she alone will always be green although for the many she will remain as someone who is a symbol of loss and longing forever just like meerabai.
Madhuri ji ka is iconic expression ka ek wahaj hai legendary singer kabita krishnamurthy ji ka awesome singing with awesome expressions... Hats off to both the legends...🙏🙏😍😍
