It is always nice to hear the hosts of Feud salute the original host, Richard Dawson, aka Sir Richard Veisaid, during Fast Money. During Richard's run, he would say "I, Sir Veisaid!" Ray and the others, plus the hosts of International versions, would salute him by saying "Our Sir, Veisaid!"
I remember that same year, Goodson got Match Game back on the air, on ABC. I know the syndicated game show market was crowded that fall, but if Goodson had gotten a syndicated version of MG on the air and maybe tried to have it paired up with Feud ala J! and Wheel, it may have survived, especially against the underrated TJW '90 and the TTD revival that I like to call "Tic Tac DUHHHHHH!" IIRC, Goodson Productions didn't have another show in syndication besides Feud at this point until 2 years after Jonathan took over after Mark's passing, with TNPiR '94, which would be the last new show the company would put out before it was sold to All American.
I think this from the syndicated version b/c the CBS version has the Recorded at CBS TELEVISION CITY HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA in credit notice at the end.
