I’m the only person who was glad their fight fell apart lmaoo, I’ve been a fan of both for years and when it got announced I was disappointed one had to use the other to move up in the rankings. And honestly Kevin losin to Khamzat won’t hurt his career at all and the “win” over Jinglang won’t do much for D-Rod’s so they kinda back to square 1

This was honestly a shitshow, it really only worked out favorably for Chimaev, go figure the new hypetrain comes out with the best deal getting fed a guy who's notoriously weak against grapplers.
Ariel is the best, D-rod is a great representation of Los Angeles Latino culture. Ariel did an amazing job bringing out his personality and asking about fugayzi L.A teams.

Daniel Rodriguez has the potential to represent how anyone on the wrong path can turn their life around. Considering how many people thought he lost, it showed strength coming in addressing the blowback and giving love to Li.
He did lose, even his face after they gave him the wind was in shock regardless of his post interview antics..

and he did what he had to do, it's not like he was the one judging the fight, people going after fighters are just stupid
I think it's more than that. Li got screwed by the UFC and the commission, and then the judges... Li weighed 171 pounds and fought Rodriguez who weighed almost 180 pounds... Li didn't get paid more, lost his ranking and then had to fight a heavier opponent as well.

@@FrZeshh Gotta really blame Khamzat's chef that made some really good food. Khamzat got paid 2 millions anyway and then maybe some PPV points as well, so the greedy UFC could clearly have paid Rodriguez and Li as well but they didn't. The commissions and the judges have always been lame and corrupt...

This is how I scored their fight. Every single round was very competitive
Round 1: Very close I felt Li edged him out.
Round 2: Very close very even or D-Rod was slightly ahead until the last min Li did really well and stole round 2 from D-Rod. Li won the round and the most clear round of the fight. I think there is no argument for D-Rod taking that round.
Round 3: Li was actually doing really well early but last 45seconds allowed D-Rod to take the around for him just do to the activity and jabs.
I scored it 29-28 for Leech but it was a very close fight.
I think the unfair thing is Li losing his WW ranking to Drod when Drod was 180lbs. Just don't have the fight count for the ranking when it was so last minute

The “robbed” shirt was for the weekend situation and to the judges. It’s definitely not to d rod. I watched the interview with Li, he actually said he liked d rod and thinks d rod’s a cool dude. The scorecard from those judges are so messed up.
D-Rod seems a really likable guy. I've been a visitor to LA County's finest accommodations a few times, NOT fun. Good to see he's (basically) keeping his nose clean.

on the real Drod seems like a good dude, Hella chill. The fight was not a landslide, they both just kinda picked at eachother every round. At the end I was wiggling between 30-27 & 29-28, nevertheless Leech was the winner. Neither man was putting the pedal down deeply hunting for the W. Let's just square em off again with full camps and settle the debate. If no immediate rematch, let's see it in a year or two. Leech should get treated as he got a W, especially since he got the shortest end of the stick by going against a guy nearly 10lbs over. Both decent dudes, Li definitely won, but it wasn't a robbery, Leech did enough but nothing stand out in there Saturday night.

OHHH I understand... Dana's lies by omission. He'll just leave out the important stuff. Li, Drod etc etc everyone prob got updated contracts. Making their "contracts" the same, but the terms of the way UFC pays their fighters per fight change. Something in place already, had to be changed legally.
