A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku, attempts to assassinate her. There are not enough Jedi to defend the Republic against the threat, so Chancellor Palpatine enlists the aid of Jango Fett, who promises that his army of clones will handle the situation. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to train the young Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who fears that the Jedi code will forbid his growing romance with Amidala.

Obi-Wan vs Jango Fett: czcams.com/video/vkxIhFIaTRU/video.html
All these years and I'm just realizing when Jango says "They'll do their job well. I guarantee that", he's talking about order 66.
@@adamgaborvarga6936 why else would he give the Jedi an army of his clones
It's almost like a revenge jab at the Jedi for wiping them out during the Mandalorian wars. Ironic that he says that to one of the few Order 66 survivors.
Yes
@@hughmungus8551Money ????
Hang on...he was the clone base sure, but that's quite the leap to say he knew about order 66. He was a hired hand. I highly doubt he knew about Sidious's checkmate move...
Wow that's a lot of uncomfortable eye contact!
Ewan Mcgregor said recently that he sat down with Daniel Logan who played Boba preparing for this scene and told him to act like he made a bad fart when he came to the door and it worked pretty good haha.
I did not even notice. I guess I am bad at reading body language.
Like a detective and murder suspect.
@@Tesseract.2012 I don't think so.
I can tell what they're all thinking in this scene:
Taun We: "Such a pleasant meeting. I knew they would all get along."
Obi-Wan Kenobi: "I should probably take this bounty hunter in for questioning, but I don't want to do it in front of his kid, and the Kaminoans might not let me leave this place alive if I make my move now."
Jango Fett: "I should probably kill this Jedi, but I don't have my gear and don't want to make a mess in front of the closest thing I have to a wife and son. And we just finished decorating the apartment too. That last bloke I killed left an awful mess and the stench took forever to air out, especially since I can't even open these damn windows."
Boba Fett: "Heh, heh. This Jedi better hope dad doesn't kill him like he did the others. Though...I should probably get dad his gear, but how can I do that without blowing his cover?"
You can practically touch the tension in this room ..... the dark stormy background contrasted with the perfect white interior, the young sage and the middle-aged warrior, the questions with subtle meaning hidden .... this is a masterpiece!
this one scene is better than all the new star wars
Obi Wan, greatest Jedi ever. Defeats Maul, sends Jango Fett running, defeats Grievous, defeats Anakin (absolute butt kicking), teaches Luke, distracts then lets Vader take him to allow others to escape.
Jango is so cool
Too bad he was killed off too early.
Boba looked worried that his father's allegience would be spoiled.
I feel like jango is ready to swing on Kenobi at any moment
I love how Obi-Wan is looking back over his shoulder suspiciously when he is leaving the room.
0:59 Obi-wan: I can totally see your suit back there!
Jango: suit? Wh? What suit? No you can't!
Obi wan: yes I can!
Jango: nnaaahh
Obi wan: you're the bounty hunter trying to kill the senator aren't you?
Jango: what?? That's crazy! Idk what ur talking about!
Obi wan: *force moves suit out*
What about Boba Fett
HISHE
Jango Fett: I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Boba would say that quote again as a way of remembering his father.
Boba Fett: I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe…like my father before me.
I might be wrong on this, but I'm confident to assume that Jango, when telling Boba to close the door, he was actually speaking Mando'a. Which, could be wrong, but, hey, always thought that he was Mandalorian simply because of that line.
it's huttese
It doesn't fit with current Mando'a sources, but hey, let's pretend he has his own dialect, because it's a lot better head canon than him just speaking backwards. And no, it's not Huttese either.
It's most likely a language only he and Boba know
...RIP Taun We. Killed off by Fennec Shand on Nala Se's orders, just like that.
1:09 if you use closed captioning when Jango mentions to boba, it translates to, “Boba, close the door” hiding jango fetts bounty hunter armor
Is Kamyno/Jango Fetts apartment meant to look more Imperial in design? The strips of black with red and yellow lights. Sort of as a foreshadowing of the Empire.
I love the tension is so thick throughout the whole interaction. Obi-wan no doubt saw the armor. But he has no authority, he’s merely here investigating and far beyond any galactic jurisdiction. Meanwhile Jango is absolutely ready for the worst to happen.
The way they hold eye contact and just fire back at one another with questions and answers. Really ramping up the pressure on Jango as Obi-wan has already deducted this is the one he is looking for.
Boba plays the kid well, just doing what he’s told but oblivious to the gravity of what is to come with the creation of this army.
Obi Wan Census Something Suspicious
Always bothered me when he said Make my way in the Universe. He should’ve said Galaxy.
Agreed
Functionally makes no difference.
One of my personal favourite scenes, the initial excitement of seeing young Boba and the face of Jango was pretty huge in theatres
I'm excited to see him again in Star Wars The Book Of Boba Fett.
Lol, this didn't age well. RIP.
If George Lucas didn't touch it with his magic fingers, it's garbage.
I like how the movie is screaming at Obi-Wan about how the clone army is a Trojan but he dont gets it
In Star Wars Bounty Hunter canon how Dooku hired Jango and offer him a clone army
AOTC has the lowest lows and some of the highest highs.
Horrible acting and direction. Like a school play with cameramen.
So how many movies have you produced? How many books have you written? You must be a really successful author to be able to criticize George Lucas as you do.
