According to the latest available gures from the Turkish Presidency of Migration Management (PMM), there are more than 5.1 million foreign nationals present in Türkiye, 3.8 million of whom are seeking international protection. Most are Syrians (3,435,298 individuals) who have been granted temporary protection status.

If Syrians were non-muslim and were not Potential Akp voters, they were not allowed to Turkiye or they would be sent back to their country at first Chance. Same applies to Iraqi and Afghanistan.

Mostly yes but some people from Greece also returned to Turkey, because that's where their homes were. This is the case with the Greeks of Imbros and Tenedos
