The best shells are made by Show Gun and Alpha Plus. They take 6 bbs and won't fire accidentally (when used with the PPS 870).

Shell ejecting is super fun as long as you can 3d print your own shells.
The most common 3d print filament, PLA, is even what most "bio" bbs are made from. So you don't have to feel super bad when you lose some outside.
Grate video as always! I've been tempted to pick one of these up but I'm not really sure where I'd ever get to use it.
You can get metal PPS shells (I'm not sure who makes them) and they work a lot better in my experience (I use them in a swan of shotgun replica) but are a little bit of a pain if the start leaking as taking them apart is not as straight forward as it could be but still totally doable. They also take 6 bbs which is nice.

Yes I’m planning on it. But as I live in cold Sweden it will probably be next spring.

The only thing I don't like about this so far it that that actually uses gas powered shotgun shells. There's no practical way to run this. Just to clarify this is more like the Streetsweeper rather than the striker because the striker actually was shell ejecting while the street sweeper was not. you actually have to manually eject those with the charging handle thing acting as an ejector rod kind of like an ejector rod on the peacemaker. I dont think there can be a shell ejecting version because airsoft. Forgotten weapons explains it better. Since the ccp got them for this, its a collectors piece.
From Catgut Violin of Explosive Enterprises: APS Smart shells are the best for CQB and XPower Shells are best for outdoors. It's a good idea to use watercolor paper for the wads and a .75 inch circle punch to make them the ideal size for the shells. You can also buy a bunch of spare hulls and load them so instead of having to load the wads individually as you spend them, you can just swap out hulls on the cartridges. You will have to use CO2 like with paintball guns, but it's a lot more efficient and pretty cheap (typically) to get them filled at a field. The FPS for the XPower shells are about 350 fps with .2 and the smart shells are around 300 fps. The real kicker is that the stock barrel for the PPS version doesn't allow the APS shells to seal well enough, so you'll have to get the appropriate barrel. EE sells the barrels but they've given the specs to Octagon so they can manufacture them themselves.

I just invested in the aps cam mk3 striker 12 it uses better shells than this its with a wad 10 bbs and a cap cover then fill the shell with gas at bottom however for the price its disappointing as all that comes in the box is the gun no shells are included these need to be purchased separately and are very difficult to track down you'll find websites that have them but are out of stock and for just only 4! The price is like 60 bucks very expensive shells good thing this isn't shell ejecting you do not want to lose these shells

Thanks. It’s a Smith & Wesson civilian vest in navy blue. Got it on eBay years ago.
Great review video but definitely not a competitive gun, even for indoor CQB. Reloading would be laborious and you'd probably die while trying. Great for LARP airsofting though.
Since the last fired shell is the one in front of the loading door you can top it off every time you shoot without having to eject all the shells. Its not as unusable as it seems

It’s both, it all comes down to which barrel you take. There is a option to choose either PPS or APS. I use the PPS version as it’s easier to load.
