Thanks, didn’t even realise aftermarket was available. I was actually kinda disappointed with what I saw in ikea but thought I’d have to suck it up if I wanted an ikea kitchen. Will look into this.

Great video! 😊...I too purchased from Dendra Doors and I couldn't be happier. The amount of selection from companies offering door/drawer fronts for Ikea has come a long way. Thanks for sharing your update.

Thanks for sharing! That’s great to hear others are having the same experience I have had.

We're looking into adding Dendra door fronts to IKEA an IKEA kitchen. Your video review on how they're holding up is perfect. Thanks a bunch for the info!

Agree that extending side covers to the floor is a nice look. (Just plan ahead for it when ordering panels.)

What were your ikea doors you replaced (and didn't stay clean)?

Great video! Do you have a website you would use for aftermarket doors?

    What style is your kitchen?

Here's a challenge for you! I'm going to pit you against Mark Tobin and ask you both: if you had 15 feet of north wall available for a single wall kitchen, what is the best sequence and sizes of cabinets and appliances you would use to create the most functional layout for a small, two person home? The kitchen is on the north side of a great room and there will also be a 2' deep by 3' long rolling prep cart.
    The winner gets bragging rights!

Mark can take the challenge if he would like, but I design spaces and kitchens for clients every day. It isn’t fair to those who hire me and pay for my time and work to then see me give a plan away entirely for free in a comment.

@@hsdesignstudio I'm not asking you to give a plan away - I've already designed the kitchen and i would be happy to send you the plans and elevations before you published your solution.
My reason for suggesting the challenge was to see what you two would do with a simple, one wall kitchen. Also, I thought perhaps you two would be curious to see how the advice and guidance given out in all your videos might be used and integrated into a viewers design.
As to the challenge, I thought that your viewers might like to see your own solutions (as well as mine) and then vote on what they liked and didn't like. It was never about getting a free design.

@@ryansoo4000 while I appreciate your overall goal in the exercise, this is why I create Behind The Design videos. It shows my solutions to real kitchens/real spaces. They key to this though is they are clients and I have spent many hours fine tuning and working out solutions based on their space and needs.
