Utrecht Early Music Festival 2018 - The Joyous Entry

On Friday the 24th of August 2018, the 37th edition of the Utrecht Early Music Festival 2018, titled Burgundy, has started with a luxurious concert evening.
The audience experienced the complete festival in one evening: four concerts in four different locations, including the world premiere of a reconstructed Rameau motet. A get together for the complete audience of 1.500 people with wine, bread and music concluded an opening night to remember.
Until 2 September, the largest early music festival in the world will present over 250 concerts, lectures and masterclasses in the historic city centre of Utrecht.
