    I work at a distillery in Texas and do treework on the side. I rock a set of Mongrel elastic sided safety boots. My feet and knees are good all day. Glad to support an aussie company that creates aussie jobs.

    Love my mongrel boots. Great to see them committed to Aussie manufacturing when it seems a lot of the other old Aussie boot brands have abandoned it (Baxter, Rossi, Harold’s, etc). These look great. Part of me wishes they would do a premium version of their riding boot with a Goodyear welt to give some Australian made competition to RM Williams. Maybe release it under the old Victor name…

      Is Rossi no longer Australian made?

      @@Christoph1888Correct. Redback and Mongrel are still true to Australia though.

    I bought a pair of the mongrel work shoes 2 years ago, they are still going super strong. Outsole has almost no damage, very tough and SUPER SLIP RESISTANT. Just had to replace the insoles every year or so.

    Just bought k9 series mongrel boot after my research. Love it. Manufactured in Australia was the main for the purchase. As a person who using Allen Edmonds Alden RM W carmina and crocket and jones I know what is good quality means . For the price I paid for mongrel it’s great

    Very comfortable with upper leather that feels too thin, I would appreciate some reference to leather thickness.

      Hi David, the leather on the Mongrel K9 boots is a similar thickness to most Blundstone boots. It is thinner than the leather used in Redback and traditional Mongrel boots, but it’s a premium leather and definitely up to the task!

    Is this also a slimmer last?

      The customer feedback so far is that these boots fit a bit narrower and longer, compared with Mongrel's work boot range.

    Wow that has to be typo on the price of the Mongrels inexpensive. I got to have them at $74.00

    Does the k9 series offer a non metallic safety toe being metal free or all versions soft toe?

    • @everythingaustralian3048
      @everythingaustralian3048  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Unfortunately there aren't any safety boots in the K9 range and at this stage, Mongrel don't do a composite toe safety boot.

    These, Redbacks or Jim Green?

  • @lt3880
    @lt3880 Před 8 měsíci

    Leather is cut in too many pieces to pass for style, makes it look cheap. Respect to aussie manufacturing though, even Rossi does most of it overseas now.
