Best product out there, cant wait to get one some day to show everyone at the car shows and prove to them that the others are subpar at best. Lets get the word out there chat, MetalCloak!!!!!!!!
It’s technically not a long arm kit if you are still using the mid-arm upper and lower links in the rear. I wish you guys would have actual long arms in the rear to give even more droop than the mid-arms do.
With the DB3 you get the same geometry that a long arm should have, and better performance. Of all the Long Arm kits we've tested, the DB3 with mid arms, has more droop, more articulation and better performance than any production long arm. Most production long arms on a JK are limited by where they can locate which usually results in problems with geometry and travel.
Need a test subject in New England, an every day / daily drive and weekend wheeler...? I’m currently running a Frankenstein, but functional mid arm kit. Your 3.5” dual rate springs, RK upper & lower arms, TF knuckles heavy duty steering track bars and stabilizer, Fox shocks, Currie sways bars. Let me know, and great looking kit....!
At some point we will for the larger lifts. However, we continue to see that our 3.5" Game-Changer is performing far better than any other long arm on the market.
LOL. It will be a while before we do a Long Arm for the JL. Still lots to learn about the JL and how it reacts to frame modification and at what point a Long Arm is even needed, since like the JK, our mid-arm kits out perform most production long arms.
@@ati573 Yep, when our customers are getting better performance from their mid arm kit than from any production long arm on the market, we don't have a need to do so. So, go ahead and shop elsewhere if you think you need a long arm, but you will not get the performance off road, the comfort on road, and the unbeatable flex of our bolt on systems.
@@metalcloak well you are wrong. I have great set up, just did a poker run up un the mountain lots of mud and snow, drove perfectly there and back, performed perfectly on the trail. Other companies do make great stuff NOW for the jlu. And they are better. better customer service to. They actually listen to there customers need.
@@ati573 thank you for the feedback. And yes, there are lots of great companies and products on the market, but the technology is completely different and everything you can do with their long arms, you can do with our bolt-on mid arms that do not require permanently modifying your Jeep. Thank you again and glad that the system you have works for you. Hopefully we will see you on the trail someday! Happy wheeling! - Matson
As our product line for the JL evolves we will add the long arm to the line-up. As it is our 3.5" Game-Changer out performs any production long arm we've tested.
I dont get why people like this...it's not a real long arm. And Rock Krawler's lower rear control arm brackets weld to the side of the frame not the bottom, there is no lost ground clearance with their long arm. This bolt on kit is literally not even a long arm. What is metalcloak even thinking?
First, consider the height. We only recommend long arms at 4.5" or higher. No gain at 3.5". The Long Arm upgrade is not about a change in ride quality, but the best performance at larger lift heights. If you are experiencing issues with ride quality on your 3.5" Game-Changer, give the shop a call at 916-631-8071 and a member of our team will be happy to help you diagnose what the issue may be.
I like your armor...bought sets for multiple jeeps...but I'm pretty sure this gimmicky suspension was a failure for TJ's, along with those 6pack shocks that cost as much as a coilover.
Talk to those who run the 3.5" Long Travel Short Arm, that has more flex than any production long arm we've tested, and feels great on the road, and they might just disagree with you. ;-) Or those running the Lock-n-Load Long Arm on their 4.5" or 6" lifts whose flex our performs any production TJ or LJ long arm we've CTI'd and is easy to ride as your daily driver. Not to mention that you can abuse it all weekend on the trail and it feels as good as new Monday morning when you drive to work.
Not at all. Doesn't effect the pinion angle one bit... the Lock N Load arm is only on the passenger side Radius arm to reduce bind and increase articulation.

Thank you! There is a sponsorship application on our website, Marketing doesn't choose too many of those, but you never know.
JL JL JL JL JL. Need this for the JL

Don’t you still have to cut the front stock brackets off and remove the exhaust loop for the front long arms to work???
Wish I was rich! Haha. Love my metal cloak set up. Long arm would be epic though.
I was so freaking excited tell I say it was for the jk and not the jl :(

@@metalcloak really. Omg jl has been out for almost 3 years and you still don't have it. Time to shop elsewhere.

Does the Lock 🔐 & Load require welding?
Thanks 😊
No. It does require the removal of the from stock brackets at the frame, but no welding is required.
Did you watch the video?

What would be needed to upgrade from the 3.5” Game Changer RS? How much smoother would the ride be?

do u make your shocks universal able to hve your 2 piece bushing inside to help w/misalignment binding?
Not sure I understand your question... the "2-piece bushing" is the DuroTrak joint which is only used on the track bars.
@@metalcloak at speed hving 2 piece joint inside shocks takes some of the stress off shaft & some of the vibration.
Will this go onto the Gladiator?
No, it is not designed for the Gladiator. At some point we will develop one for the Gladiator.
Looks to me it would change the pinion angle and not a good idea.
Not at all. Doesn't effect the pinion angle one bit... the Lock N Load arm is only on the passenger side Radius arm to reduce bind and increase articulation.
@@matsonian2 Okay one side , does not sound so crazy now.
Looks cooky
LOL... that's what they said about our Arched Fenders, 6Pak shocks, Duroflex Joints... etc, etc.
