- Full brew review on the Mangrove Jack's Craft Series NZ Hopped Pilsner from packet to glass.
The final product.... 4.86%ABV, very clean finish visually and for the taste and a great colour with strong golden tones.
The description on the packet 'crisp and dry with a clean, lingering bitterness which refreshes the palate' may be true but it doesn't do the flavour and aroma profile real justice.
Berries and Citrus (lime and others) characterise the aroma and forward flavour. Good malt character and a (mild) spicy black pepper aftertaste on the tongue which perfectly compliments the 'lingering bitterness' and the berry fruit notes.

I'm watching this vid to find out how to open the packet lol glad I did as it would have been a can of worms .
A bit shit really on the packaging instructions I frown upon it.

This one looks great too. I was going to use a hop bag with my latest brew to try and make it a bit clearer rather than loose hops, we'll see how that goes :-)
@@graemeglasgow4596 Good call on the hop bag. Definitely helpful especially if you're not racking off into a bottling bucket. I still use mine from time to time. Finings 48-hours before you bottle will help clear your brew as well.
@@homebrewrepublic1993 Thanks Russell 🙂
