Reptiles just like us can be prone to weight gain. Best thing is to get them out and moving as much as possible. Sometimes I will feed worms or a favorite food out of tank. I will toss it a little ways in front and make him run to get it. Mine are naturally more active outside because of things to explore. Just make sure you have a leash or stay right with your beardie because they can be fast if want to. Another suggestion is to back off a little on bugs and fruit and make sure they get a good veggie meal in first. They will always choose bugs if have an option so I do salads first.
