I get the whole high level thing. But about 99% of the MVC2 vids I've seen have had about 9 different characters at best. Where are the vids of high level with the other billion characters? Just a question, not trying to make a statement.
Tier doesn't define a player, skill does. Low tier is usually the only way to win tournaments when everyone is studying tech for the most used characters. Look at Frutsy last year at Evo. He's a nobody using characters nobody uses and manage to go top 8. That's unheard of, and it's because nobody new the match up.

@davidgem the game is COMPLETELY unbalanced with about 6 characters in the "god tier". every now and then you see other characters used but not often. i do however recall seeing justin kicking ass with some joke tier characters not too long ago (roll, servbot and somebody else).
Are you talking about that grab combo otg lk launch magic grab etc with guile ??? this is not a combo at all and thats it ... i just need spiral no assist to but your ass if you use this team ...
best assist: doom. no argument. strongest marvel character: arguably sentinel. best infinite combo: many characters, guile's infinite will never land against a mediocre player let alone a pro.. come again?
