According to the guitarist, the song Alone Again tells a little about the love for music that finally made them agree to form a band.
This song is also an answer at a time when they were at a point where they felt lost and confused about who they were and what they wanted to be.
i think this is the sound that they've been trying to produce ever since danny came back but it failed in their last album.. but boi this song, you can say they've finally found it i'm not gonna complain if the entire album will be like this and the album is like only a month away!
Completely agree, they said in an Instagram live that the fans noticed it first but the last two albums relied heavily on mixing and electronics, so they went back to basics and got all 5 of them in a room to record, what’s also interesting is that their using their old logo for the first time since FDTD and also using the same iconography from that album (the queen with the skull). Very exciting
Danny's voice is very relaxing one of the many reasons why I love him ❤

The Queen skull has been a symbol for Asking Alexandria since from death to destiny right at the end of the reckless and relentless cycle
I started watching your videos with your full reaction of their last album during quarantine. Love what you said about Danny’s vocals, he does feel underrated, and Ben’s ability to make a simple sounding riff sound so interesting and fitting. These guys are so good at writing music.

I love your comment about they are changing and people have to respect what they are putting out. I've felt this way about gaming for the longest time. People get mad when a game isn't what THEY THINK it should be as opposed to just experience the developers vision. We've lost touch with experience of what others are trying to deliver and are caught up in "what we want."
There are so many good games that people hate on because it's not what they were wanting even though it's still a good game
asking alexandria is a band that got me into this kind of music. this is a great change, ideal style for them

Certain parts sound like avenged and that’s an amazing thing but I also love that I hear their new sound mixed with in it. It’s amazing! I’ve always loved all their stuff, but this is definitely the direction I prefer the most 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
I immediately thought of A7X when I heard the opening and the guitar. It surprised me from Asking, and I really dig it.

The riff reminds me of a A7X sounds to it, then they kill this chorus! I love the song and this direction!
I could be 100% wrong on this but if I remember correctly way back before Danny left and Denis joined and The Black came out I wanna say I read that Ben Bruce wrote a bunch of songs that he said had an A7X feel to them but scraped them because he wrote them based on Danny's vocals and wrote what we got as The Black, ima assume that it could be possible that he brought some of those riffs back

I heard the album preview recently. One song caught my eye after hearing screams.
They pretty much talked about some of your points on a cartoon they did last year. They wanna have different sounds so they can tour with other rock bands and not just metal/metalcore bands all the time. And they talked about playing The Final Episode opening for Guns N Roses and get booed so bad because it’s a completely different audience so they didn’t have their type of music.

You're right, there is nothing wrong with bands evolving, but it can also be sad when you know that a band could make new songs you'd absolutely love but they choose a different direction. Probably will be getting this album myself though
And I think great example of how to evolve while pleasing almost everyone is Motionless in White, they really carved out their unique niche over the years, and they have music for new and old fans, without feeling like a disjointed mash of genres
The guitar riff reminds me so much of Ghost
Bit of Hail to the King A7X, bit of new Metallica, but still their own way, loved it
i wish people would stop complaining about their sound and Danny not screaming, i like what they've put out plus things change and that's okay and remember when they put out Stand Up and Scream, Reckless & Relentless and From Death to Destiny they were using drugs and alcohol and Danny's vocal cord injury
