The US border is the same as it has been for the past century and is by far the most secure today that it has ever been in history (although that isn't saying much). Sports are not more important than the troubles of the world, but they do offer a moment of respite from dwelling on such troubles. Life can be hard and seem senseless and hopeless sometimes...but try not to let the media and things you can't control depress you and take away your spirit. Focus on things that you can control...such as being a spark of positivity that helps brighten the dark. Hang in there man. : )
