I've just acquired a 6x4 trailer, going to deck my car out and use the trailer for pullout kitchen storage and bathroom. Seats down, double bed, and under bed storage as well, wish me luck 😅

If you drill a hole dead centre to where the actuator is you can manually turn it if car unlocked to get tailgate open from the inside. I tried to link to the video but CZcams blocked me but its on my channel. 14mins 32seconds on a video titled "Budget Car Camping as basic as you need to as functional as you need holden commodore adventra"

Hello. I love your set up in your wagon camper.
I have just acquired a Holden wagon and will be using it to camp as well.
Since I am a novice solo female camper, I have been wanting a lot of CZcams videos to see how I can set mine up without to much carpentry. I saw this video on someone altering a camping stretcher bed to fit into his wagon at the same place you have your bed. Was wondering if you have seen it on CZcams? I want go do the same and was hoping you could give me some tips please.
Thank you so much and pls keep posting your adventures/journeys. I love them snd getting lots of ideas and feeling very inspired.
    Thank you.
    Marianne

Hi Marianne many thanks for your thoughts and said, honestly no I haven’t see youtube content that’s you mentioned but as long it’s work and less hassle I don’t see why not, to me i think space and comfort it’s most important specially when we on the the trip and know exactly where our belongings is and easy to access in to at the end of the day you want to have a good night sleep 🛌.
      Many thanks

I’m looking to buy a wagon, but seems like most of wagon have very low ground clearance, which I’m very anxious bout going a little light off roading on stuff like gravel or dirt roads.

If you’re not an extremely off road maybe just look in to AWD SUV, which mine is Subaru Forester and I took off road many time and it do it job alright ( not a serious off road tho) good on fuel economy but just if you want to sleep in the car than maybe Subaru Outback ( have longer back space )

@@localtravellertube3366 yeah seems like for very light off road wagons we only have two options being outback and Volvo v60 cc, I was looking at Skoda Octavia and Mazda 6 wagon but they all had pretty low ground Clearance
