Thank you for this quick cleaning I have a 421 from the 70s we just used it in a show to make a banjo it is absolutely stunning on a banjo the grill came off so I decided to clean it I'm not going to go in as far as you did however your video was very helpful for me thank you for all you've done Long live Sennheiser I have a 441 obviously at 4:21 8:35 which is a great mic similar to a sm58 we use them as much as we can for making bands and for vocals thank you again my friend
Glad I could help !
Nice sounding mic on voice btw!
Yes it was surprisingly good when aimed correctly. Althought there's a lot of HF which could be harsh and sibilant with some voices... ;)
Super! thx a lot. I do it now .. 🙂
You’re French?
My compliments for your English!
I honestly never knew about the switch 😮
Thanks !
So you said you weren’t going to paint the grill why? I couldn’t quite understand . Something to do with the screen inside?? Did you not want paint on the screen? Or is it hard to take out or?
Well, those mesh grill are very tight, It would take special paint to avoid blocking it completely. So I didn't want to invest more time and money on this mic... Also, it looks older like this ;)
@@MarcoPrimeau Right okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying :)
Excellent video! , I have an MD441 , but the treble filter does not work .. I checked it and the cables are all in good condition and connected, there is nothing cut or loose .. what could it be? can this be repaired?
I'm not that good in repairs, but if you had another identical one, you could measure the resistance of each wire and determine if one is severed. At least test if the switch works ok. . .
Same mic. What did you use to get small bolt under silicon? I’m not clearly seeing how to grab it.
Regards,
At what time in the video ?
