    My late husband saved every Marvel Comic Book he ever bought, and he pretty much bought all that came out when he was a kid. He was born in 58 and while he kept just about every single thing he ever owned and loved we got rid of most of it, the comics however came with us to California and I gave them to my daughter. He was also a WWE fan growing up and he went to lots of shows that were local to him at Ocean Beach, CT. he used to go into the stores advertising the events and ask for the window cards when they were done, he had tons of them, all the action figures, autographs, wrestling programs, you name it he had it, and not knowing that I should have sold it we dumped it all in the trash, I could kick myself now. I love antique stores, but they are not the same out here in California as they are back East, the prices here are absurd but back home we were able to find good deals. My mom used to say, Antiques are truly only worth what someone is willing to pay. Thanks for taking us along, that was fun, I really miss antiquing.

      @jbinthehills  Před 2 lety +2

      Sorry to hear you threw some of those things away. But you never know what will go up and value. Rick Flair charges a $150 at the Comic Cons to sign his name. But like your mom said you have to get the right person to pay a certain price for item. Thanks for watching 😎😎

    I like the 'moving along' filming style. Almost didn't make it past the opening, but it was worth the time. Pee Wee's Playhouse was a great show for kids in the early 90's, and afterwards Paul Reubens film career was as big as he wanted it to be. He was already wealthy by then.

    I remember the doll, Mrs. Beasley from Family Affair. The doll was so cute. I loved that show and sometimes I still watch that show. I LOVE that store. I LOVE old glass. I would get in BIG trouble if I ever went in there, good thing I live in North Carolina. I really love the Amish country. They have such a unique way of life. Some of the items were really priced at good prices. The furniture I am sure was made better than what we buy today. I love this video. I was curious to see if you could even find the doll, yes, you can on Etsy and of course Ebay. I had the original Barbi doll and I cut Barbii, Midge, and even Skipper's hair...makes me SICK I still have them with all the clothes. I have kept so many things and they will not even mean anything to anyone when I am gone. I do not know why I have kept all of this treasure junk. Thank you for this video. I loved it.

    The very first piece of weeping gold was a small swan candle holder from a place called "the Ohio China Company" back around 1965 when i was 9. I saw a lot of nice things.
    All these knic knacks are what makes a house a home. Gives the home character.

      We didn't buy anything but this place I'm not sure because the people selling the stuff are not there just cashiers. It's many different peoples items so I doubt the cashiers can drop price. The items have numbers on them so the cashiers know who the vendor is. 😎😎

    That wagon doesn't have a battery or light so you would have to put those on and the triangle on the back before you get over a ride plus by a horse and take care of the horse I wouldn't mind it but a lot of the people do I love horses but they are some work feed twice a day water twice a day clean the stall get new yeah there's a lot to it but worth more than a car right now I would have bought it I know that sounds crazy but I would have brought it down here to Florida and had to put it on an acres of land with a tiny house and live on it you're only allowed one acre per horse so I can only have one horse God bless peace be with you much love and respect oh by the way are those your children and grandchildren and the other video that I like I didn't comment on it I totally forgot God bless
