hey what would the best build be right now considering the sunfire and divine sunderer nerfs? it seems a lot of people take electrocute despite any buffs happening to the rune. any thoughts?
Yo bro. Actually I find that items on kat are very situationnal and there is not one broken item. But, sunfire has been nerfed hardly especially for kat so I find that it is not the best choice righ now. I take it rly only if ennemies have full of cc bump etc, like, against hard comps. And the fraust gauntlet is better now if u want to tank. Most of the Time I go protobelt because it deals a tone of dmg. But sometime if they have several bruisers and/or a mid that I cant oneshot I go for it. Because yes it got nerfed, but they increased the AD ratio of Kat so finaly it s not a nerf. Riftmaker is not that good, but sometime I take it, I cant really explain why. On general it s when I need to not be squishy, but not against big bruisers, and Where I need some sustain. Most of the Time I take it when I m forward but if I would take protobelt, I would be too squishy. Concerning thé runes : hmmm… hard to explain. Hinestly it dépends a looooot of the matchup, but also of what u like. First strike can be good, even if it got nerfed, against some champs that u cant 1v1, to get some extra golds, and maybe u will snowball (btw u can take the rune that kill a minion instantly, and increase je dmg against all this type of minions, then u’ll be able to farm way more easily and oneshot waves). I dont play a lot first strike, but for exemple against sylas. Electrocute is good when u play against an oponent not tanky, that you CAN 1V1. For exemple a zed, a syndra etc… but dont go it if u play against squishy that are unkillable : for exemple zoe, Leblanc, vladimir. Cause u wont almost never win the 1v1, but électrocute sucks in midgame and even more in late game. Well if u prefer, go électrocute if u think u can take a big advantage by solokill early je opponent. The bad thing too with électrocute is that u can only go for protobelt, not anything else, and same thing for first strike. Finaly, conqueror is the best runes, especially against mages that are not mobile at all and have shty auto attacks, for exemple lyssandra or veigar. Like, rly bro against veigar u take conqueror long sword u solokill him lvl 2.
And, I ve never seen someone do that except me, but I tried two Times and it was incredible as hell. So if u play against a yasuo, a yone, a renekton, go for lethal tempo, with domination on secondary rune and u up 3 Times your A, and then max ur E. And in first item u buy hmmm… I forgot the english for, but this is the purple blade that u buy with irelia, yi, or sett. it s something like « bork ». And u take the boots that gives u Shields. And bro I promess u that the yasuo especially will run away😂 like rly u 1v1 him so easily, u just dodge the tornado and it s over! And after u go for sunderer, and what u want after! (AP or AD)
sudden impact got buffed and first strike got nerfed, so electro kinda got indirectly buffed I like elec. there isn't a best build, just ap rocketbelt with elec vs squishy teams or conq with nash > riftmaker/sunderer > nash against more tanky teams. pretty standard stuff
Nothing more satisfying than the missing pings from teammates after styling on someone
