that boss is meant to be a cutscene. That's why it looks similar to Sonic Mania's version

@@no_namechannel5704 Egg Scorcher Mark 2 is Hill Top. In Superstars: They didn’t Show Marks 1 & 2 because Tails could only make Mark 3 for Trip The Sungazer.

Idea of a impossible Death Egg robot mk 1:
-A pinch mode for phase 1 that after 1 of the hands are destroyed, the other one will stay in the middle while the boss stay jumping at anywhere.
-In phase 2, the robot is doubled health, the laser would be faster charged and would ocup the entire screen with only a little non filled space in the upper corner, and after the laser is shot, some missiles that go behind sonic spawn.
-in the master emerald chase, robotinik would drop the emerald and get it back fast to spawn electro balls that would throw the character to behind.

The laser tower is missing the spike ball which was placed there specifically to prevent you from hitting Robotnik until he died in one pass through.
