    Just seeing this video. I didn't know, but I can emphasize. Your videos are unique and excellent teaching tools for me, a non-musician, to help me help my young son through understanding techniques and terminologies. He loves the cello (1/8 size) and his instructor is very gifted and amazing. I am grateful for you. Thank you for your detailed, clean, and direct pedagogy. May God bless you and keep you!

    I received all your love and light. I have also experienced a broken heart. I went all the way to the bottom very rough and harsh time of my life. But, God had a purpose for me. I’m still here. I have seen many, many countries, which one my passion is. However, I met a beautiful instrument call violin cello approximately 5 years ago and ever since been playing the cello. This my true passion.

    I am returning to the cello after three years of depression, and to regain my self-love, I just lost a loved one last August, and his last breath motivated me to reconcile with myself and with life. I have a magnificent cello teacher who is patient with me and I thought I had forgotten the little I learned years ago, and no, she, apart from her patience, has made me see the cello as an extension of myself, and through which I can express myself. . I hope that your heart heals, that you reconcile with life, that you continue your path teaching music. A hug. 🫂🎻

    You don't owe any of us an apology. Your health is paramount. That must always come first. I had a feeling you were dealing with some tough issues, but I didn't think it was my place to intrude. I've been there as a young homeless & suicidal teenager a few decades ago, & I commend your honesty & bravery in being able to open up. You didn't need to, but I know from my own personal experience that there's a great sense of relief in doing so, and it can have a really cathartic effect.
    Never feel ashamed, but always feel proud of yourself for admitting your difficulties. It's only when we acknowledge we may need some help that we can truly move on and heal. I've followed you for a few years now. You were the real motivation behind me purchasing my first Cello. I can't thank you enough for that. You've made me believe I can do anything when others looked down on me as an adult learner. I'm so proud of you for opening your heart to us. I hope you continue to find the peace and happiness you so rightly deserve. The road can be tough, I know. It took me many years to get my life back, but you will get there, never doubt yourself. You are loved very much❤

      Thanks to people like Janet L Smithers, adult learners will never be looked down upon. I played the violin QUITE BADLY and never practised enough, but my violin teacher Janet at Smith never made me feel inferior. She just wanted it to be fun, even if you start at the age of 20, and she has to be the first teacher. No-body can fathom how sweet Janet was in every way. I am a beginner at cello, too, but it is just supposed to be fun! Janet never taught people to compete, she'd have me in duets with her best students, and inevitably, she'd have to pick it up for me after a few measures🤣❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ GOD BLESS YOU, JANET! 🙏🙏🙏

      Thank you Jacque! As much as music was my solace, the depression was too deeply rooted to overcome until I found treatment. Now I feel that my music and teaching and my faith can work in tandem with my treatment, which have become a collective saviour to winning the war against the dark thoughts.

      A cello is not just a inanimate object, but a personal extension of a cellist unique musical voice. I think you are doing the right thing by getting rid of the 7/8 th cello, clearly this cello is not resonating with you and possibly affects your mental health. Being a cellist is more than what pieces you can play. You have to feel the music to have a deeper appreciation for the music, therefore playing on the wrong cello will affect the cellist. I learned this from Benjamin Zander master cello class on CZcams. The right cello for the right cellist

    • @Jacque-ep4st
      @Jacque-ep4st Před 9 měsíci +1

      To be a good cellist you have to have a personal connection to your cello. The cello you play on is a personal extension of your musical voice.Good luck 🤞 in getting a cello that resonates with you.

    Hello, dear Johnny -be -Good! We so much hope you continue to be happy and looked into a bright future!! Gunnarine monchhichi is my inner child and care-taker! She is sending you 🥰 and light, and my new cello bow is really sensationell. Today was a pissy day. But a bit of cello today, and I will start better tomorrow. Try Griffonia 5-HTP supplement for day all natural, and tryptophan 500 mg, all natural (I take 1 g) at night. You wouldn't believe how it helps. Micro- doses of psilocybin are supposed to help; I have never tried it. How come CBD doesn't help me? Just some small ideas to help...I can't tell you how much people treasure cellists with a deep soul. Unfortunately, the soul is no kangaroo-pouch; if you have anything you can think of to make it more of that, frankly some days, I sure wouldn't mind. 😂 Best from Gunnarine monchhichi with her stupid corny inhuman German accent...

    Jonathon I really care about you are respect your work. The Lord has given dreams about watching your channel to supplement my cello learning. You, and a girl named Sarah Joy.
    At this point in the world, and your life, you really need to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves you. His strength is perfected in our weakness. You will not find what you need in the cathlolic church. So much of what they teach is against the bible. I am not speaking out the side of my neck.
    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the word was God. Jesus, who was there in the beginning, is the Word of God. The Bible is Living. Satan will do anything he can to keep people from reading it. Because it is a supernatural thing that happens when people truly seek God, humbly whilst reading it. Many people use the bible for evil, as did the serpent did in the beginning. Subtle changes in doctrine become not so subtle. I'm sorry for the pain youre experiencing. 💔 God can and will let it work out for your good if you let it. He has a perfect plan for all humans, they just need to show up to it.
    When I was born again, almost 6 years ago, crazy things happened. My family thought i needed to see a doctor. Satan has blinded the word, and has tried to destroy us since conception. The world is plagued with darkness that soon must be dealt with. Jesus is the light of the world and He is coming soon. I want to see you when He comes back. Anyway, I got on my knees in my apartment and spoke to God. I said, "God, if this is your will, I will do it."
    I KNEW I had to give up my sin and read the bible...I was living a life of sin, a concept that seemed so bizarre because I didn't know I was doing bad things. I was judging by my standard, not Gods.
    You are a man of faith, and perhaps your belief is genuine, but thr cathlolic church will lead you astray. It is filled with false doctrine. I have known ex-catholics who said they never even really read the bible. But the Lord called them, and they too, recieved true salvation, freedom from shame, death, and were set free. Joy comes from the Lord. Jesus spoke a parable of a vine. He said I am the vine, and you are the branches. In order to bear good fruit, we must remain connected to him. One of those fruits is joy. Depression is a spirtual attack, a stronghold for many. I suffered from it too. I started getting molested at two years old, and so I saw a lot of pain. Only Jesus saw everything I went through in life, and I know that vengeance is the Lords I've been forgiven and forgiven others. There is freedom in that.
    I think you may enjoy the animated movie 'Pilgrims Progress'. It is free here on youtube, probably available in french as well. If you find time, you should watch it. If you read all of this, God bless you. There is much that coule be said at this hour. But in the meantime, I will be praying. I loge you with the love of Christ.
    Sin abounds because the love of many have grown wax cold. That is what is written. I've realized how narrow the path truly is. I hope in the Lord you find your way. God bless you.
    Also, if your able and willing, I do love the prelude to Bach's Suite No. 5. I have been learning it for awhile. It is the piece that inspired me to play as a child.

      czcams.com/video/ksu-zTG9HHg/video.htmlsi=U3cDumnUCHoD9n1Z
      The true remedy to depression according to the Bible Is praise. We must worship him in "spirit and truth" as Jesus said to the Samaritan woman. That means walking with him daily, picking up our cross and denying ourselves, repentance, and GROWING in thr knowledge the truth.
      Isaiah 61:3
      to grant to those who mourn in Zion-
      to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
      the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
      the garment of PRAISE instead of a FAINT SPIRIT (SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS);
      that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
      the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.[a]
