This fit does NOT survive the Marshall and Kiki rooms. It died within a minute in both rooms on the test server. Only skill I'm lacking is Shield Management 3/5.

@@Aceyface this was before the way before the Deapths of the Abyss Update. Its used to be a lot easier to run abyss in gernarl. Now I use a worm fit that can solo t1 exotics consistently as an alpah clone.Its pretty decent isk .Its cant not run t2 however .with some game knowledge its doable. you have to kite the rogue drone bc and devoted knight. everything else is easy .
My worm fit:
low: 2 t2 drone damage aimplifers
mid : 1 t2 battery, shield extender,small clarity ward enduring shield booster, 1mn enduring afterburner,
high: arbalest compact missle launceher
rigs: 2 small thermal shield reinforcers II, 1 small em shield reinforcer II.
Drones: 5 Caldari navy hornets.
ammo: Caldari navy scourge light missle : 4-3k ammo.

For anyone wondering: This tanks 554 EHP/s and does 442 DPS with max alpha skills (CN Vespas, Fury Missiles)
Much more actually. According to pyfa I'm getting 731 ehp/s.

Ah actually I failed to consider the limits of alpha skills. The number I gave was with max omega shield skills. And fair warning... its still not enough. It dies consistently to 2 rooms. Marshall and Kiki rooms are guaranteed death. So I suggest keeping it to T3 only. I'm currently testing this fit a mid-grade Nirvana implants on Sisi to see if that improves its survivability.
Well, I thought I'd give it a go, so brought it to the testserver, and lost 2 times in a row due to a marshal spawn, and a rom of kikimoras, as they just shredded the ship. Think things hay have changed for this fit, at least for people without max/near max shiled skills
No you are right. I used this for weeks. Worked perfectly. But then about 4 weeks ago i lost 3 in a row. It's all luck and depends on the waves/clouds and combos. I can guarantee he's only ran a few runs and just got lucky.
so a bit more info I just started alpha character to test this, 1 mil SP, and enough skill injectors just to get into this fit. I couldn't get the shield regen above 375 and lost it testing this. Could I get a list of required skills to make this happen.
Since they changed the spawnes you can get in the abyss, just don´t use passive gilas anymore they will die to ( for example) the first marshal room you get, those will just chunk right thru the shield buffer. Huge signature thanks to all the shield extender and no prop mod to kite is a bad idea and the dps is not great cause you have to use mid and low slots for tank...
I do T5 gammas in Gila. Learn to fly or try test server.

Great content, Im watching your old videos to get into some nice abyssal farming. Can you tell me please, Mr Aceface, would this fit be easily runable in all the other T3s. I want to run T3s before I jump into the right T4.
Looking at running tier 3 with one of my Gilas running this fit, adding an AB. It's only got tier 1 rigs but everything else is the same.
Would it tank that at 236hp/s?
I also generally gravitate toward the 'dark' filaments because their only downside is tracking which doesn't matter to missiles or drones for the most part, with a speed benefit.
I'm an OLD eve player (2006). Always been a lone-wolfer -- the quiet side of EVE. I have Mastery level skills in almost every category. Have done everything. But WH and abyssal stuff, I'm very noobie. This was a good video bc while my first abyssal trip ended tragically (knew nothing about it, just did it), I have learned a lot since then. Can you run any T3 or T4? or should you concentrate on certain weather effects?
Ace as a new player I must say. Your alpha clone videos are fantastic. You have skills us new players do not, including manual flight, positioning, and general knowledge how. I see you are actually making videos for experienced players because you push the limits so hard on these beginner videos.

Still learning about Eve, abbys and testing around but isnt afterburner must have for abbys? you clear pockets 3x faster and if Iam not wrong you dodge missiles... Itested your fit on test server and I will swap one shield extender for afterburner for sure.
My main has 82 mill SP, currently alpha tho and I only get 412 dps with this fit. Are you on alpha char when you showing the fit at the beginning ?
I would do some testing on test server before trying it on Tranquility or any other fit for that matter.

I noticed almost all the suggested Abyssal ships are Caldari. Have I got that right?
Techincally the Gila is Caldari AND gallente ;) I dont know havent really noticed it, what other ships are caldari that are often used?
Technically, Caldari are the best shieldtanking race leaving lowslots for +damage mods => highest pve dps => race of choice
My newest EVE sub mentioned my oldest EVE sub -- Delone Wolf FTW. Gotta love that.
I got a gila I bought not to long ago. I think about testing it. from what i saw on you're video its about 20m-15m per run.
Is this still viable and what's the minimum dps needed for T4 with this fit?
Decided to give this a try. A Marshal in the third room decimated me. Anyone else having the same luck or was I the only one? While I can easily afford it that was a lot of money down the drain. EDIT: Should have read more of the comments below. It's on me for not paying more attention. Oh well live and learn.
I also gave it a tri and after 10-12 runs ig ot popped by a 4 ship gang in less than 1 min. thumbs down, way down. i played as alpha but do have 85m SP so thats not the issue perse.
Couldnt you do this on gamma filaments too for the +50% shields

Which wave - how did you die? Also how are your skills?
@@Aceyface I died on the second wave and my skills aren't far off having the shield hp demonstrated in your video. Possible I got an unlucky wave but I don't recall the NPC's that were in there.
Why say its almost impossible fir an alpha to die with this fit in t4 exotics when , quite clearly , its almost impossible NOT to die when you get a marshall spawn?

well something i have to point out about this video is that the fit isn't alpha friendly. with alpha skills you can't use tech II vespas and the shield recharge wont be so high. also with this slug of a ship the battleships will be hitting you as hard as they can.
Alphas can't use t2 medium drones. Does this work with faction?
I actually went with 4 T1's, 2 navy vespas, 2 augmenteds and 2 T2. The Navy Vespas were the ones that held best. The T2 and Augmenteds, one of them on each got hammered into structure, but survived.

Hey i tryed today you fit on the Testserver, did work really well. UNTIL i got a 4 Marshal spawn + 1 Enforcer... which did 1200 dps together due to the dps graph i had running. I was dead in Seconds (maybe a minute). :( had like 10 runs before without issues. Even the kiki spawn was tight but ok.. but the marshals was just instant death xD (I am omega with 80m sp, so i have most but not all of the skills at 5)
Im mastery 4 with the Gila, and that room with the 3 Marshals... broke me in one minute.
Same here 3 marshalls + 1 thunderchild got wrecked....
Try to change Caldari Navy Large Shield Extender to Republic Fleet Large Shield Extender or Thukker Large Shield Extender. Then go to the Gamma, not exotic. Do you think gila will die?

Tried the fit but the T2 vespa needs Medium Drone Operation 5 and its locked for Omega so I guess I just swap it with T1 is that ok?
Swap it with caldari navy vespa, this was error on my part 😅

I used this fit on T4E using perfect Alpha skills yesterday and died in few seconds. 400 hp/s regen is not enought without resistances and slow velocity.
With maxed out alpha skill for shields and missiles i have 454.8 (404.1) dps with CN vespas and 353 hp/sec shield regen. So 110 less dps and 39 less shield regen. Will try this on test-server, but it really lacks stats compared to yours. Will also check your new video about T3's
Just tried - yeah died, ran out of time, not enough dps to finish 3rd room with Angels. Second was Drones, first one i already forgot:(
Alphas can't fit Medium Core Defense Field Purger II since it requiers Shield rigging 4 and alphas can train to L3.
Vespa II can't be used also since alphas can train Medium drones to L4.
Medium Core Defence Field Purgers II only require Shield Rigging I. I should know, I've used them as an alpha.
True, alphas can't use T2 Vespas, but Faction Vespas do the job great

Does runing t4 exotics in gila as alpah still works. you're using an omega clone here. I simaluted you're fit. I got 339.4 dps and 338 hp per seconds my medium drones is at level 3 and my light missles skills are maxed out all my missle skill are maxed out for alpah clone or at level 3/.I'm scared of the marshel spawns.Is there anyone that tested this recently with alpah clone and did 20 + runs .
Edit: I thought you knew alpah clones cant use t2 mid and heavy drones. i use faction one instead.
i tryed it like 15-20 times. the spawn with a lot of kikis is a bit hard but you can survive it if you kill them fast. Than i did get next try first pocket a Marshal spawn with 4 Marshals (if i am not wrong) and one enforcer.. they popped me in somewhat between half a minute und 2 Minutes. Extremely fast... didnt get another Marshal spawn yet to confirm it, but i guess its just insta death. i dont get all maxed out Skills, but almost on this fit.
I just tried this as an alpha, with decent skills, on T4 Exotic. Now I'll admit maybe I stink as a player, maybe I got a bad wave or all of the above, but things seem different from when this aired. I was wiped out in the first room. I used this fit and drove straight for the biocom cache unloading on targets all the way. Once they broke the shield wall it was all over save the crying. Not a good time. The neuting part held true. Not blaming the fit as it clearly has worked for others and even in this video just saying it may no longer be as safe s it once was.

Marshls kills it, and so does kiki spawns, stopped trying it out at that point
just tried this and looks to be quite ok... i even tried to afk abyssal ratting hahaha and was ok... util the edencom room...but to be fair was not paying attintion and 2 marsharls were too much for me
actually this is what i want because this is afk friendly lol and also u can take many filaments and blitz thro them:)

Tried this 15min ago and although the tank was gr8 i had no time to reach origin conduit at third room! Seems when i enter abyss some1 watches me and make this extra hard just to lead me to Boom!

I had one with Marchall and 4 Enforcers plus two Marker pasifiers.. and I died with this fit. Second run i did with it. And my skills are ace in this fit.
Thanks though was nice to try something new. I even used Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Operation SP-904 +4 capacity and Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Management SM-705 +5 recharge rate.
I died using this fit. Wasnt able to tank the first filament i tired -_- third room killed me
t2 Vespa dont usable in alpha clone. and dps with drones are 280
Ultimate relaxation fit, lol.
I am running this on testserver right now, dps is too low even with augmented vespas (not alpha friendly at all). Too many webs = fail, too many Overminds = fail... tanking capability is great though, no issues here.
Try upgrading drone skills maybe? I don't have issues on my alpha clone caharcter
@@Aceyface Can't be, I wanna see your alpha reaching 600dps+ with faction drones and 0 damage mod gila. Your demo is literally the 3 easiest of all pockets in the easiest of combinations, no marshal room, no double devoted knight + webs, no drone battlecruisers + webs, no double overmind pockets, no damavik+kiki pockets. You literally uploaded the perfect and probably one of the few successful runs for that build. Running this on SiSi instead of Tranquility further proves your own doubt of viability for the build. 0 damage mods gila does not pull sufficient dps and especially not with alpha enabled medium navy vespa drones. I mean prove me wrong but this is far from reliable isk grind for alphas but a nice clickgrind for youtube isk.
Edit: Scrolling through the comment section seeing you dodge/ignore all mentions of certain rooms and combos only strengthens my suspicion of deliberate clickbait or ignorance.

The thing dies on concord spawns like it's papertanked.

doesnt work, maybe it did before at some point, but no more. unless u get easy spawns all the time. i lost 600m last night if u dont believe me go risk it too.
i forgot to mention, it doesnt work for t3 even. i didnt even try t4 with the fit.

Farmed few days on that fit in T4 exotics, but faced with room with 3 marshals and died almost instantly lol
Don't worry ace died as well no experienced pilot would ever recommend running t4 in passive gila
@@deangregoric4735 but updated fit also passive, only ab and boosted em resistance. Or you mean full passive like this one? I'm running t3 now with autoburner, boosted dps (drone links in low instead of shield regen modules) higher em resistance for Marshalls and decided to not run t4 without implants set and active boosters more.
@@user-vv1tm4uh4v am taking about fully passive fit the problem is you can't reliably tank when facing rooms like Marshall, to many enemies and not enough shield regen = dead even kikis will eat this fit no problem

This fit will not tank some of the newer rooms as of 2024. Stick to T3s.
Just don't disconnect. Then u have to sell the loot. Not as straightforward as it sounds.
well that sucked haha, I had the exact build with 317 regen and died in the first room doing the exact filament used.

Probably if I start focus one of marshals right from start.
So thre were 3 main targets for me. - 1 one marshal could be result on -40% of income damage.
I would say Abyss is a total bullshit. Im comparison risk vs income
you must be minimus in 0.7 - you could be killed but gankers/suicid squads
you could be killed by NPC unlucky roll
you need to have good skills and good fit to be able to do something

Those PvPers who looking for PvP with ganking and ratting stype. READ it you only YOU killing EVE ofc with assisting of CCP. They dont even try to prevent disaster to happen.
